Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our Research Clinic. As a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting the Principal Investigator in various clinical and administrative tasks. This is an opportunity to work in a fast growing research environment and make a positive impact on patients' lives.Responsibilities: - Perform medical procedures such as taking vital signs, measuring height and weight, blood draws, and collecting patient information - Assist the Principal Investigator with examinations, procedures, and treatments - Administer medications/injections as directed by the Principal Investigator - Prepare patients for diagnostic tests - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional service - Ensure the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment - Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staffQualifications: - Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with healthcare professionalsIf you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, possess the necessary qualifications, and would thrive in a dynamic clinical research setting, we encourage you to apply for the position of Medical Assistant/Receptionist.
