Role Overview:

Assists electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Responsible for various tasks, including preparing materials, tools, and equipment, as well as performing basic electrical work under supervision. 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Electrical underground infrastructure, installing PVC, duct banks, manholes and pulling wire.</li>
<li>Help install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.</li>
<li>Set up and dismantle temporary power systems as required for construction projects.</li>
<li>Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Replace electrical components such as fuses, circuit breakers, and light bulbs.</li>
<li>Maintain and organize electrical tools and materials.</li>
<li>Prepare and carry tools, supplies, and equipment to work sites.</li>
<li>Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li>
<li>Assist in testing systems for functionality and safety compliance.</li>
<li>Set-up and clean-up work areas.</li></ul> 


Required Skills and Experience:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent
</li><li>Experience in construction or electrical work preferred</li></ul> 


Capabilities:
<ul><li>Collaborating effectively with electricians and other construction team members.
</li><li>Clear and concise reporting of progress and problems.
</li><li>Showing up on time and following through with assigned tasks.</li></ul> 


Working Conditions:
<ul><li>Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind.
</li><li>Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.</li>
<li>Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.</li></ul> 


Other:
<ul><li>Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screen, and obtain base access. Must have a valid driver's license.</li></ul></div>
