Location: New Cairo, Egypt 
Reporting To: Business Unit Manager &ndash; Food Ingredients 
Job Purpose 
To drive sales growth and market development of IMCD&rsquo;s food ingredient portfolio in Egypt by providing technical expertise, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering value-added solutions to food manufacturers. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Sales &amp; Business Development 
Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets. 
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts. 
Promote and sell IMCD&rsquo;s food ingredient portfolio to food and beverage manufacturers. 
Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs and propose tailored solutions. 
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in line with company guidelines. 
Technical Support &amp; Solution Selling 
Provide technical consultation on food ingredients and their applications (e.g., dairy, bakery, confectionery, beverages, savory, etc.). 
Collaborate with customers&rsquo; R&amp;D teams to develop formulations and optimize product performance. 
Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and application trials. 
Work closely with suppliers to ensure proper technical positioning of products. 
Market Intelligence &amp; Portfolio Management 
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments. 
Provide feedback to management and suppliers regarding market needs and opportunities. 
Support new product launches and supplier integration into the local market. 
Internal Collaboration 
Coordinate with supply chain, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction. 
Maintain accurate records in CRM system (pipeline, opportunities, visit reports). 
 
Qualifications &amp; Requirements 
Bachelor's degree in food science. 
3&ndash;5 years of experience in technical sales within the food ingredients industry. 
Strong technical knowledge of food formulations and ingredient functionalities. 
Proven track record in B2B sales and account management. 
Strong negotiation and presentation skills are important. 
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. 
Ability to travel within Egypt as overseas when required .

Department: Finance 
Location: [Cairo, Egypt] 
Reports to: Finance Manager 
 
Purpose of the Role 
To ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting tasks, compliance with internal and external regulations, and support for financial reporting, tax, and audit processes. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the Finance Manager in daily operations. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
General Ledger &amp; Closing Activities 
Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, provisions, and adjustments. 
Manage monthly and year-end closing procedures in line with IMCD Group timelines. 
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and sub-ledgers. 
Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable Support 
Monitor vendor invoices, payment runs, and AP aging. 
Assist in customer reconciliations, collections, and AR monitoring. 
Support Customer Service and Commercial teams in resolving billing or collection issues. 
Banking &amp; Treasury Support 
Process and record daily bank transactions and reconciliations. 
Assist with cash flow monitoring and monthly cash forecasting. 
Liaise with banks for documentation or issue resolution. 
Tax &amp; Compliance 
Prepare and file VAT, withholding tax, and other local tax declarations. 
Support internal and external audit requests. 
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and IMCD internal controls. 
Reporting &amp; Analysis 
Assist in preparation of financial reports and schedules for management and HQ. 
Perform variance and trend analysis when required. 
Support in budgeting and forecasting processes. 
 
Key Competencies and Skills 
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS 
Accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail 
Good working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) 
Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools 
Strong communication and teamwork skills 
 
Education and Experience 
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance (CMA/CPA is a plus) 
4&ndash;6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multinational or distribution company 
Experience with tax filing and statutory reporting in Egypt 
Familiarity with internal controls and audit processes
