Supply Chain Manager 
Department: Supply Chain / Operations 
Location: New Cairo, Egypt 
Reports to: Managing Director 
 
Purpose of the Role 
To lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations including demand planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management. This role ensures product availability, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while aligning with IMCD&rsquo;s strategic, compliance and operational standards. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Strategic &amp; Operational Leadership 
Develop and implement country or business-unit-specific supply chain strategies aligned with IMCD group policies. 
Lead S&amp;OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process in collaboration with commercial and finance teams. 
Implement, execute, and monitor the IMCD Global Supply Chain Policy, including related guidelines, procedures, and instructions. 
Ensure full compliance with IMCD&rsquo;s Risk &amp; Control framework.Monitor and improve KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, working capital, service level, etc.).Procurement &amp; Inventory Management 
Forecast and procure materials based on customer demand and market trends. 
Optimize inventory levels across warehouse(s) to avoid shortages or overstock. 
Manage supplier performance and coordinate with global procurement when applicable. 
Logistics &amp; Distribution 
Oversee local and international logistics operations, including shipping, customs clearance, and delivery. 
Ensure cost-effective and timely transport while meeting quality and regulatory standards. 
Manage relationships with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and warehousing partners. 
Ensure 3PL providers hold all necessary licenses and permits. 
Establish SLAs and KPIs, regularly review performance, and conduct audits. 
Lead year-end rate negotiations with 3PL, aligning costs with performance and business needs. 
 
Team Management 
Lead, develop, and coach a team of supply chain and logistics professionals. 
Foster cross-functional collaboration with customer service, sales, QA/QC, and finance. 
Support Business Units with logistics analysis for new projects and customer onboarding. 
 
Compliance &amp; Continuous Improvement 
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and local regulations. 
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in supply chain processes. 
Lead or contribute to ERP implementation or optimization (e.g., SAP). 
Sustainable Procurement 
Lead the local implementation of IMCD&rsquo;s Sustainable Procurement Policy. 
Ensure all 3PL providers sign the ESG Standards for Business Partners. 
Drive EcoVadis downstream supplier assessments. 
Initiate and oversee CO₂ reduction projects.

Education and Experience 
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Master&rsquo;s or MBA is a plus) 
Minimum 7&ndash;10 years of experience in supply chain roles, ideally in chemicals, pharma, or FMCG 
Proven track record in leading supply chain operations in a multinational environment 
Experience working with regional/global stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Summary: 
The role of Legal Counsel India and Bangladesh is to provide a service-oriented, collaborative, problem-solving approach to a variety of legal matters for IMCD&rsquo;s Indian and Bangladesh companies.

The role of Legal Counsel India and Bangladesh will be located in Mumbai with responsibility for all legal requirements in India and Bangladesh. The incumbent will work as part of a dedicated legal department, operating from various countries and regions, centrally managed by the General Counsel based in IMCD&rsquo;s head office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
 
 
Role Accountabilities: Legal/Compliance ( (not limited to)) 
Legal:
 
<ul><li>Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to business units and departments of the IMCD companies in India and Bangladesh.</li><li>Draft and interpret contracts in alignment with the commercial teams, offering counsel on a myriad of commercial laws, including antitrust and export control laws, and providing advice on sales, purchasing, distribution, supply chain, HR/labor law and other legal matters in relation to the business.</li><li>Keep Group and local contract policies and contract management processes up to date and supervise the effective use of these policies and processes in the organizations.</li><li>Manage all company standard agreements, including terms and conditions.</li><li>Advise management on contract status, legal risks, and legal liabilities associated with different deals.
</li><li>Research and anticipate unique legal issues that could impact any of the Indian and Bangladesh companies.</li><li>Provide legal support services in connection with entity formation and management, mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture arrangements or other strategic partnerships.</li><li>Assist with coordination of integration projects concerning acquired companies.</li><li>Monitor governance of IMCD companies India and Bangladesh.</li><li>Utilize contract management software to manage contract database for company contracts.</li><li>Provide advice on labor and employment matters.</li><li>Utilize a learning management system (software) to create, manage, and conduct employee training for any legal matters.
</li><li>Realize the effective retention, management, and efficient use of outside counsel.</li><li>Conduct discovery and support outside counsel in complex litigation matters.</li></ul>
Compliance:</div><ul><li>Act as the Indian and Bangladesh Compliance Officer in leading company compliance program in the region.</li><li>Create and implement policies and best practices to enforce legal compliance.</li><li>Oversee the dissemination and communication of IMCD&rsquo;s Code of Conduct and Business Principles, assisting with training on the Code, and investigating ethics-related issues.</li><li>Provide regulatory and government compliance guidance.</li></ul>

Targeted Skills &amp; Capabilities 
<ul><li>Strong legal knowledge in the field of commercial, distribution and agency law is essential.</li><li>Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts in a commercial setting.</li><li>Knowledge or experience in working in a chemical manufacturing or distribution environment is an asset.</li><li>Must be capable of operating autonomously with the highest level of integrity and ability to spot compliance challenges.</li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.</li><li>Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns.</li><li>Must be effectively able to anticipate, identify and problem-solve as necessary.</li><li>Strong competencies in: time management, prioritization, problem solving, teamwork orientation, technical capacity and with an ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.</li></ul></div>

Required Education and Experience 
Professional license holding a law degree (LL.B or higher). Additional or joint degree(s) (e.g. LLMs) in a specialized and relevant area of law is an advantage. 
Good standing with the relevant legal licensing authority. 
7+ years&rsquo; experience at a law firm or corporation. 
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. 
 
Preferred Education and Experience 
Experience in a fast-paced, in-house legal department environment. 
Experience with contract management software such as OnBase by Hyland. 
Experience with training software such as Cornerstone.

Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels in the organization in a professional manner. 
Ability to multitask and switch focus quickly without losing track of priorities. 
Ability to think independently, using critical thinking skills to make decisions with a high degree of autonomy.
