 Logistics &amp; Procurement Coordinator
 
 
 
 Job Summary
 
 
 
 
 KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 
 Supply Chain
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist with Raw materials supply (Local and imported) following the Corporate procedure and rules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Logistic supply: purchase logistics services through local subcontractors, including clearance agencies &amp; internal freight suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 All local purchases: production line and maintenance tools, IBCs, consumables, chemicals, courier, office supplies. Following Imerys corporate procedure and rules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up all governmental fees (including ports and energy) .
 </li>
 <li>
 Support with renewal all local suppliers contracts renewal and create new contracts following Imerys rules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Insert new local suppliers for better economical, quality and technical conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to cost saving initiatives by supporting in reducing the purchasing budget of the major items, for clearance, freight, IBCs, consumables, Maintenance tools, and others if needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow regular KPIs to monitor purchasing efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in reviewing and updating Imerys Ceramics Egypt purchasing procedure.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Management of logistics service providers
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support the management of port shipping agents (customs clearance, disbursement account at Egyptian Ports)
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage logistics suppliers for unloading of Bulk vessels and post-delivery (road transport) up to the platform.
 </li>
 <li>
 Guarantee good coordination with all suppliers in order to avoid additional costs (demurrages / product loss / additional road transport costs ...)
 </li>
 <li>
 Guarantee the documentation of importation transactions with the banks and ports requirements, to be accurate and in time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support with the Yearly negotiation with the local logistics suppliers (port shipping agent, road transporters etc.)
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Stock Management
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Contribute to define and manage the stock levels by material and by product, according to sales forecast, production, minerals supply etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be responsible for the accuracy of stocks physically and into ERP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with production for regular physical count.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 ERP Management
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Create the production entries and stock management onto ERP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create new products.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create new suppliers and new customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create the purchasing cycle and manage the purchasing cycle onto ERP.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Safety
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Follow all necessary safety guidelines prescribed for the site and proactively highlight improvements with the management team.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 JOB SPECIFICATIONS
 
 
 
 
 Education And Experience Requirements
 
 
 
 
 Education
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (or relevant field).
 </li>
 <li>
 English and Arabic are must. Any other language is an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Any logistics professional certification is a plus.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 0 to 2 years of work experience as supply chain coordinator, transportation or any relevant position.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in Ceramic / industrial fields is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge in SAP.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
