North America, Canada, and India</li><li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of RFQ's, Purchase Orders, Supplier Quote Comparisons, and PO Folders</li><li>Develop qualified suppliers to ensure adequate competition in the supply chain</li><li>Develop and lead negotiation strategies which optimize IMG's position (cost, quality, delivery and terms/conditions)</li><li>Evaluate supplier proposals and understand total procurement costs</li><li>Develop sourcing strategies based on supplier consolidation and leverage</li><li>Assist in all aspects of the purchasing process, including maintaining a network of reliable suppliers, cost analysis, sourcing, quotations, timely order placement, monitoring of order delivery timelines, and resolving any discrepancies or delivery issues</li><li>Immediate notification to project team of any potential delay of material delivery dates.</li><li>Broadly support IMG Manufacturing Group needs for:</li><li>On-time deliverables</li><li>Complete and functional deliverables</li><li>Timely responses by suppliers</li><li>Competitive costs with an underlying drive for continuous cost savings</li><li>Develop and manage a highly dynamic supply base which complements IMG's goals</li><li>Develop and implement a robust commodity strategy including supplier consolidation and development</li><li>Continuously improve processes and offer solutions to best support the organization and increase overall efficiency and effectiveness of the purchasing team</li><li>Driving supplier Value analysis and Value Engineering</li><li>Early supplier involvement and development</li><li>Optimize IMG's financial performance in terms of:</li><li>Reduce cost through understanding of total cost and key cost driver</li><li>Ongoing drive to reduce standard costs</li><li>Adherence to IMG's standard payment terms</li><li>Adherence to the Limits of Authority guidelines for purchasing parameters</li><li>Any other work assigned by Director of Supply Chain.</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Project Buyer for 5 years at an Automotive focused Automation Integrator, equipment builder</li><li>Worked in the Automotive Industry for 10 years</li><li>Project Buyer for 8 years at an Automotive focused Automation Integrator, equipment builder</li><li>Extremely familiar with mechanical and controls componentry / hardware as it relates to automation tooling and cell integration</li><li>Familiar with Fabrication and Machine processes for sourcing details</li><li>Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Dynamics BC, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Dropbox</li><li>Proficiency in using computer systems (e.g. MS Office programs, ERP and other IT applications as trained/required).</li><li>Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track and manage shipments, and documentation, ensuring all logistical tasks are executed with precision.</li><li>Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external partners, and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the Supply Chain process.</li><li>Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, project management, and manufacturing, to achieve common logistics objectives.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time Salaried Supplemental Pay: Bonus OpportunitiesSchedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Weekends as needed</li></ul>Work Location: In personPay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>automotive industry buyer: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
