Working within exhibit zones, they act as woo-hoo! brand ambassadors, with the primary objective of engaging with all guests in an empathetic, thoughtful and joyful manner.ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience and Service<ul><li>Be an ambassador for woo-hoo!; ensure that every guest&rsquo;s experience meets or exceeds expectations, specifically through inclusive, culturally appropriate, positive and memorable interactions with a friendly and sincere approach.</li><li>Treat every guest with respect and provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting them to the building and informing them of the exhibit&rsquo;s areas and programs.</li><li>Provide excellent guest service, and facilitate guests&rsquo; experience and journey through a proactive and thoughtful interaction.</li><li>Contribute to a positive, team-based, and &ldquo;guest-first&rdquo; culture.</li><li>Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, workshops and camp activities.</li><li>Be able to assist guests during large community events.</li><li>Attend to guest queries/complaints. Amicably resolve matters with dissatisfied guests.</li><li>Manage any situation with overcrowding in relation to the maximum capacity of the area or around a particular exhibit.</li><li>Comfortably facilitate and manage exhibit spaces and components.</li><li>Be able to cater to guests in the cafe and heat and serve food items</li><li>Be able to use cash registers at reception and in the cafe.</li><li>Collect and communicate guests&rsquo; feedback and suggestions.</li><li>Assist with tidying up or cleaning an area if and when needed.</li><li>Follow and perform the daily opening/closing protocols and procedures including (but not limited to) routine cleaning, restocking, and preparation of program materials.</li></ul>Exhibits area / Education<ul><li>Have an honest and comprehensive understanding of woo-hoo! philosophy and developmental, pedagogical, and other learning objectives.</li><li>Develop a deep understanding of the learning opportunities for each exhibit/gallery.</li><li>Understand and stay current with the exhibit and program initiatives.</li><li>Be able to apply the knowledge learnt during trainings and induction.</li><li>Participate in training programs designed to enhance interaction with guests in the &lsquo;woo-hoo!&rsquo; manner.</li><li>Work as a team to ensure that the entire building (and each and every gallery/corner) within the premises is highly presentable (clean, tidy, supplies in proper place, well organized, properly maintained, etc).</li><li>Manage the use, quality, and organisation of consumables.</li></ul>Safety / Security<ul><li>Provide a safe environment for all guests, specifically for the children.</li><li>Communicate any safety/performance issues regarding exhibits components.</li><li>Adhere to all policies and procedures of woo-hoo!</li><li>Make sure guests are following or abiding by the rules in each gallery, but in a calm and polite way.</li><li>Assist guests in case of an incident or an emergency situation.</li><li>Take ownership of the safety of the facility and report and follow up on any repairs, or changes needed.</li><li>Attend training and be prepared to perform emergency procedures (i.e. fire evacuation, accident reporting, etc).</li></ul>Other Responsibilities<ul><li>Working with other colleagues, proactively contribute to the success of any special events and programs.</li><li>Perform other duties and be involved in projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of woo-hoo! objectives.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1- 2 years of experience working with young children (ages 0-12) and their families in recreational settings, afterschool programs or classrooms.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, adults, and large groups.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</li><li>Ability to work with diverse staff and guests.</li><li>Excellent grasp of the English language. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced in maintaining facilities with high guest traffic and technical elements.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Inspections &amp; General Maintenance<ul><li>Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.</li><li>Address minor repairs immediately, including fixing broken parts, tightening loose screws, and replacing worn-out components.</li><li>Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruption.</li></ul>Public Area Safety &amp; Accessibility<ul><li>Ensure all public areas, including restrooms, are clean, safe, and accessible to visitors at all times.</li><li>Regularly inspect for potential safety hazards and carry out necessary adjustments or repairs to prevent accidents.</li></ul>Electrical Maintenance &amp; Support<ul><li>Inspect electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting fixtures, to identify and resolve issues.</li><li>Replace light bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures as needed to ensure all areas are well-lit and compliant with safety standards.</li><li>Assist with the installation of new electrical components, ensuring they are safely and correctly wired.</li><li>Respond promptly to electricalemergencies such as power outages or short circuits and restore functionality with minimal disruption.</li></ul>Contractor &amp; Vendor Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance work beyond in-house capabilities.</li><li>Monitor contractor activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Supplies Management<ul><li>Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for routine maintenance, particularly electrical repairs.</li><li>Order supplies and replacement parts as needed to ensure uninterrupted maintenance operations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or technical certification in Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in entertainment, attractions, museums, or high-traffic venues.</li><li>Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Experience supporting AV, lighting, or interactive systems is an advantage.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and work independently.</li><li>Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.</li><li>Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours maintenance when required.</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Schedule:&middot; Based in Dubai,&middot; 6-day work week with flexibility for weekends, and public holidays.If you're eager to build your career with dynamic brands that bring joy and excitement to thousands, Xstrike and woo-hoo! are your destinations for success.Apply today, join our team, and let's make extraordinary moments happen together!Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to AED2,800.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>This is an urgent vacancy.
