 The Investment Analyst supports deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, investment committee preparation, and portfolio monitoring across Impact Capital&rsquo;s strategies (e.g., private equity, private credit, venture, and/or public markets as per mandate). The role combines rigorous modeling with market/sector research to help originate high‑quality opportunities and improve portfolio returns while maintaining disciplined risk management.

   Deal Sourcing &amp; Screening
  </li>
  <li>
   Track target sectors, build lists of potential targets (companies/funds), and maintain the deal pipeline CRM.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct initial screens (market size, unit economics, competitive positioning, valuation sanity checks).
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate NDAs, data‑room access, and management intro calls.
  </li>
  <li>
   Financial Modeling &amp; Valuation
  </li>
  <li>
   Build and maintain three‑statement models, DCF/LBO/comps, returns analyses (IRR/MOIC), and downside cases.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform trading and transaction comps, precedent analysis, and benchmarking.
  </li>
  <li>
   Stress‑test assumptions;document model logic for transparency and reproducibility.
  </li>
  <li>
   Due Diligence
  </li>
  <li>
   Support commercial,financial, legal, tax, and operational diligence; coordinate Q&amp;A and data requests.
  </li>
  <li>
   Analyze cohorts, retention,CAC/LTV, margin bridges, working capital cycles, covenant headroom (credit).
  </li>
  <li>
   Summarize findings and red flags with clear implications and mitigants.
  </li>
  <li>
   Investment Committee (IC) Materials
  </li>
  <li>
   Draft teasers, one‑pagers,and full IC memos with thesis, valuation, returns, risks, and sensitivities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare slides and talking points; maintain an audit trail of sources and assumptions.
  </li>
  <li>
   Portfolio Monitoring &amp; Value Creation
  </li>
  <li>
   Update monthly/quarterly dashboards: KPI trends, covenant reporting (if credit), and variance analysis.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with initiatives (pricing, go‑to‑market, ops improvements) and track value‑creation workstreams.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support exit preparation (data‑books, vendor DD, buyer lists) when relevant.
  </li>
  <li>
   Research &amp; Insights
  </li>
  <li>
   Produce sector briefs (TAM/SAM/SOM, regulatory, supply chain, competitive moats).
  </li>
  <li>
   Track macro indicators (rates, FX, commodities) and their impact on pipeline and portfolio.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain a knowledge base of sources, reports, and playbooks.

   Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s in Finance, Accounting, or related. .
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience: 0&ndash;3 years in investment banking, private equity/credit, equity research, consulting, or FP&amp;A with heavy modeling. High‑performing fresh graduates may be considered with strong internships.
  </li>
  <li>
   Certifications (nice to have): CME1, CME4
  </li>
