<div>Title: Project Coordinator - Empowered! Program 
Classification: Non-Exempt 
Reports to: Senior Program Manager of Climate Justice Initiatives 
Job Summary: Works with individuals participating in the Empowered! &quot;Clean Energy&quot; full scope of Skilled Trades programming. Coaches, mentors, facilitates and assists individuals to set employment-related goals and addresses barriers to employment within the scope of the agency's policies, procedures, and budget. Supports Senior Program Manager with identifying available resources and employment opportunities available to assist clients interested in career exploration within the clean energy sector. Helps establish an Individual Employment Plan (IEP) and folows up to ensure implementation. Assists Senior Project Manager and Lead Project Coordinator with program design, implementation and instructional facilitating of curriculum. 
Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Establishes a positive and productive working relationship with individuals from various backgrounds, including young adults (ages 18-30), recently restored citizens and applicants with criminal convictions in their background</li>
<li>Assists with the intake and assessment phases, including ensuring the program participants' cooperation with the complete employment-centered case management process</li>
<li>Maintain contact with participants through weekly appointments and engagement activities to track their progress to interview/job readiness status</li>
<li>Facilitates the individual's involvement withthe creation and implementation of an Individual Employment Plan (IEP), including coaching individuals on meeting career/employment goals, managing expectations, program performance and emerging opportunities</li>
<li>Inputs and maintains accurate up-to-date individual activity/data into the tracking system designated by the agency</li>
<li>Creates and maintains individual files per assigned case load</li>
<li>Inputs individual activity/data into the data system</li>
<li>Facilitates group sessions and workshops to build employment readiness skills</li>
<li>Distributes attendance stipends and retention incentives to program participants</li>
<li>Prepares and submits assigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports</li>
<li>Facilitates referrals for individuals to internal and external resources as needed</li>
<li>Occasional travel off-site to support training or other outreach engagement activities</li>
<li>Seeks out recruitment opportunities and works with colleagues to build a calendar of recruitment events</li>
<li>Represents the agency at internal and external outreach events and recruiting activities</li>
<li>Uses motivational interviewing and trauma-informed approach as appropriate to help guide program participants to goal achievement</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul> 


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Standard working environment. Requires ability to operate telephone and personal computer for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to job sites. Requires current driver's license and willingness to transport clients in company vehicle to job sites and educational field trips.

Education and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Associate degree in social work or related field (Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, etc.) or equivalent knowledge/experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of industry standards for sustainability and &quot;clean jobs,&quot; including solar energy, wind energy, energy efficiency, combined heat and power, facilities maintenance, etc.</li>
<li>Must possess valid Ohio Driver's License. Must comply with agency's insurance carrier standards and policy</li>
<li>Preferred:
<ul><li>Experience as a work-readiness curriculum facilitator</li>
<li>Certification in specific facilitator training (e.g. FDS, &quot;Thinking for a Change,&quot; Job Coaching, Resume Writing)</li>
<li>Experience with NCCER curriculum</li>
<li>Experience working with diverse populations of people</li></ul></li></ul>
