Position: Procurement SpecialistLocation: Carolina, Puerto RicoHours: 40 per weekLocation: In person at client&rsquo;s facilitiesThis position focuses on purchasing and expediting supplies, non-GMP consumables, and services. The Procurement Specialist ensures timely, cost-effective delivery and collaborates across teams in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico at moment of application.Responsibilities<ul><li>Request supplier quotes and obtain area leader approval</li></ul><ul><li>Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to maximize value</li></ul><ul><li>Create and manage purchase orders using SAP, Ariba, and P-Card</li></ul><ul><li>Track and expedite orders; provide delivery updates</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate vendor onboarding in SAP and Ariba</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation</li></ul><ul><li>Perform timely reconciliations</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor and manage purchase orders in SAP</li></ul><ul><li>Provide backup support for the Administrative Assistant</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with suppliers to update and qualify vendor data for PR</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee insurance compliance processes (Liability and FONDO)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3&ndash;5 years of procurement or buying experience, ideally in</li></ul>pharmaceuticals<ul><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities</li></ul><ul><li>Proven multitasking and adaptability in dynamic settings</li></ul><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)</li></ul><ul><li>SAP and Ariba experience strongly preferred</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with large capital projects is a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Self-starter with a customer-focused and team-oriented mindset</li></ul><ul><li>Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)</li></ul>We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
