Special Education Teacher &ndash; Virtual Start Date: ASAP! Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week. Pay: $50-52/hour pay rate, paid weekly Location: 100% virtual, must be located in California Job Type: W-2, Full-Time ContractAbout the RoleInclusive Learning Partners is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to serve a virtual, in-home learning caseload. You will be supporting students with a range of unique learning and behavioral needs. Ideal candidates are experienced, proactive, collaborative, and committed to providing individualized, high-quality instruction and care.Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Special Education or a related field</li><li>Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate</li><li>Knowledge of IDEA and the California Education Code</li><li>Experience designing and implementing IEPs</li><li>Proficiency in research-based instructional strategies and positive behavioral interventions</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills</li><li>Must be computer literate and confident to complete IEPs and required duties virtually</li><li>Experience with rendering virtual services is highly preferred</li></ul>Key ResponsibilitiesIEP &amp; Assessment<ul><li>Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and California Education Code</li><li>Conduct formal and informal assessments including Triennials (two scheduled: Nov &amp; June)</li><li>Use data to guide instruction and progress monitoring</li><li>Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation</li></ul>Instructional Support<ul><li>Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction using evidence-based strategies</li><li>Provide direct small-group and 1:1 instruction with accommodations and modifications</li><li>Collaborate with general education staff and service providers to implement supports</li><li>Design differentiated instruction to meet a variety of student needs</li></ul>Behavior Support<ul><li>Implement and monitor BIPs as needed</li><li>Use positive behavioral strategies to promote student engagement and success</li><li>Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment</li></ul>Communication &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Maintain consistent communication with families</li><li>Work closely with instructional aides, therapists, and school staff</li><li>Maintain timely and confidential records, logs, and reports</li></ul>Professionalism &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure all compliance and service documentation is up to date</li><li>Engage in professional development aligned with special education best practices</li><li>Uphold district, state, and federal regulations and timelines</li></ul>Employee Perks and Benefits<ul><li>Weekly pay via direct deposit</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life &amp; Chiropractic Insurance</li><li>Paid Sick Time, PTO &amp; Holiday Pay</li><li>CEU Reimbursement</li><li>401(k) retirement plan</li><li>Referral bonuses</li><li>Supportive and responsive team</li></ul>(Benefits eligibility may vary depending on employment status)Why Work with Inclusive Learning Partners?Join the Inclusive Learning Partners team!
