About the Role:

We are eager to discuss the prospect of you joining our team as our next incredible team member!

This role will assist in driving the success of the Business Banking Sales team. Duties and responsibilities may include:
<ul><li>
Prospect and generate new commercial and SBA business through various sales activities, including outside calling, networking, community events, online sales techniques, and referral partnerships.</li><li>
Promote and cross-sell other Bank products and services to meet customer needs, such as business and non-business deposit accounts, credit cards, mortgage loans, and cash management products.</li><li>
Operate with a player/coach management style.</li><li>
Provide guidance of best practices and procedures by demonstrating through individual sales behaviors. Encourage best practices and routines to expand individual portfolios and identify new referral networks.</li><li>
Participate and lead joint calling efforts to offer regular performance feedback and provides personalized guidance throughout the selling process and improvement strategies as needed.</li><li>
Motivate and mentor a high-performance team; which may include recruiting, retaining, coaching, and developing the team. Serves as a training partner and technical resource to Business Banking team members.</li><li>
Understand the strategic direction of the department and uses research and data to develop recommended business strategies for consideration. Link department performance to the goals of the organization and provides input on strategic decisions that affect the functional areas of Business Banking in alignment with the company&rsquo;s strategic and financial targets.</li><li>
Share industry and product knowledge to deal with the diversity and challenges of relationship management.</li><li>
Assist in the development of sales training programs.</li><li>
Perform customer site visits to promote and sell established products and services.</li><li>
Serve as an ambassador of the IncredibleBank brand, enhancing the Bank&rsquo;s reputation and developing additional business opportunities and centers of influence.</li><li>
Independently negotiate complex terms and conditions of all types of commercial and SBA loans.</li><li>
Review loan requests and credit histories, prepare proposed credit memos with recommendations for loan pricing and terms, in collaboration with the Credit department.</li><li>
Assists and partners with the credit team to underwrite loan requests by conducting detailed financial data analysis to determine if proposed applications meet the Bank&rsquo;s lending criteria and policies.</li><li>
Consult and present to various committees for approval and/or transactional eligibility.</li><li>
Monitor the commercial loan portfolio to maintain acceptable risk levels in accordance with Bank loan policy, utilizing proper credit risk rating, credit analysis, and loan structure to ensure early identification of potential issues and accurate risk ratings.</li><li>
Conduct daily reviews, approvals, and dispositions of commercial overdrafts and loan past dues.</li><li>
Regularly collect and review reports and financial statements to identify changes in borrower&rsquo;s economic conditions and respond efficiently to clients&rsquo; evolving financial situations.</li><li>
Complete annual reviews with the Credit Team and communicate the Bank&rsquo;s relationship position to clients.</li><li>
Maximize portfolio profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income, and selling of all Bank products and services.</li><li>
Manage individual Profit and Loss Statement to drive positive financial performance, reviewed annually.</li><li>
Maintain accountability for achieving annual production goals, which are subject to change per annual review practices. Metrics include conventional and Government guaranteed loan production, deposit growth, and referrals to other Bank partners.</li><li>
Gather, review, and forward periodic business, financial, and personal background information.</li><li>
Maintain constructive and positive relationships with loan applicants, borrowers, their representatives, referral sources, and Bank partners, delivering ICE both internally and externally.</li><li>
Provide timely and concise updates on transaction status to Bank partners as needed.</li><li>
Inform prospects and customers of approvals and declinations in both written and verbal form, adhering to Bank procedures and federal guidelines.</li><li>
Utilize the organization&rsquo;s customer relationship management software to enter and log all sales activities daily. Submit prospect reports and weekly pipeline to management, ensuring all data is accurately entered and managed within the tracking system.</li><li>
Maintain complete confidentiality with internal and external customer information, adhering to all fiduciary responsibilities.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal SOPs including SBA SOPs in all client interactions.</li><li>
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and economic conditions to provide informed advice to clients.</li></ul> 


This is a regular full-time, salaried exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday.

This position may work on-site at one of our IncredibleBank branch locations in Cape Coral, FL or can be remote eligible in the FL market. Frequent travel throughout the FL market will be required based on business and/or customer needs.

<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance or Business Management and 5+ years related business banking or commercial lending experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in related financial roles.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lending guidelines, loan programs, products and services, procedures, practices, and markets required.</li><li>
Strong understanding of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics.</li><li>
2+ years&rsquo; experience working in a lead and/or supervisory capacity.</li><li>
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.</li><li>
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills required.</li><li>
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of business processes; able to analyze the nuances of business deals.</li><li>
Strong relationship management and business development/sales acumen.</li><li>
Must have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and diplomatic skills dealing with customers in various levels of the organization.</li><li>
Ability to foster teamwork and work as a team.</li><li>
Ability to communicate both orally and written in a professional manner.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of regulations, compliance standards, market trends and products related to the banking industry.</li></ul>
