ESSENTIAL DUTIES IN THE FIRST YEAR MAY INCLUDE:

Within the first 30 days:
<ul><li>Partners with another Warehouse Associate to shadow and learn the order selection process, how to properly package customer orders, and identify multiple shipment methods.</li></ul>
<ul><li>By the 30-day mark, proficiently handles packing for all products and is comfortable with UPS and small shipments.</li></ul>

3 months and ongoing:
<ul><li>Independently assembles and packs all customer orders fully knowing the warehouse layout, where parts are stored, and the process while pulling and replenishing parts after fulfilling orders.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Continues to expand one&rsquo;s knowledge and skillset by taking on increasingly more complex orders from customers that require specific packaging, labeling, etc.</li></ul>

6 to 12 months and ongoing:
<ul><li>Assists with shipping and receiving tasks including unloading trucks and processing item receiving following Index Industries procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Introduced to LTL (Less-than-truckload) shipments, learns the checking-off process through shadowing another Warehouse Associate.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Works successfully in a fast-paced environment, completes assigned facilities maintenance duties and operates warehouse vehicles and equipment while ensuring proper maintenance.</li></ul> 
EDUCATION, SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE:

✔ Possesses a valid driver&rsquo;s license and DMV printout required

✔ Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work with enthusiasm required

✔ Possesses strong written/verbal communication skills required

✔ Demonstrates strong organizational and mathematical skills required

✔ 1+ year(s) of working experience within a warehouse or similar environment preferred

✔ Strong familiarity with modern warehouse practices and/or methods of operation preferred

✔ Experience with counting scales within a warehouse environment a plus 
COMPENSATION &amp; COMPANY BENEFITS INCLUDE:

The compensation range for this position is $17.00 - $21.50 per hour based on experience and skillset 
Your Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Your Health: Medical (Index Industries contributes 60% of total costs); Vision and Dental (Employee responsible for 100% of costs)
