Our vision is to build an inclusive ecosystem that nurtures dignity, independence, and lifelong learning.Role OverviewWe are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Resident Nurse to join our residential program team. The Resident Nurse will provide individualized care and educational support to residents with neurodevelopmental disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability (ID), and related conditions. The role involves fostering residents&rsquo; independence, emotional well-being, and adaptive functioning within a structured residential setting.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide individualized support to residents with neurodevelopmental disabilities like ASD, ID, and related conditions.</li><li>Supervise and mentor caregivers, ensuring they follow best practices in communication, hygiene, safety, and positive reinforcement.</li><li>Maintain accurate daily documentation of each resident&rsquo;s progress, challenges, and behavioral observations.</li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review resident care strategies and progress updates.</li><li>Assist in creating structured routines and adaptive environments that foster independence and emotional regulation.</li><li>Respond appropriately to behavioral or sensory challenges with patience and professional calm.</li><li>Collaborate with families and clinical professionals to maintain continuity of care and support.</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Diploma in General Nursing.</li><li>Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and English for effective communication with residents and caregivers.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Attributes<ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>High emotional intelligence and patience.</li><li>Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse caregiving team.</li><li>Observant, organized, and documentation-driven.</li><li>Flexible to handle day and night shifts as needed.</li><li>Deep empathy and commitment to the cause of inclusion and neurodiversity.</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>On-campus staff accommodation available.</li><li>Transportation is provided from central city locations to the Sirakol campus.</li><li>Access to continuous professional development and training programs.</li><li>Clear career growth pathways into supervisory or program coordination roles within IAC&rsquo;s residential ecosystem.</li></ul>Why Join UsAt the India Autism Center, you will be part of a purpose-driven organization that is shaping the future of neurodiversity inclusion in India.
