The Graphic Designer will be an essential part of our Communications Team, using creative talent to visually communicate the message and mission of our church and school. This role involves designing a wide range of media, from print to digital support events, ministries, outreach, and overall church branding.</p><ul><li>
Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.</li><li>
Design high-quality visual assets for a wide variety of projects, including advertisements, brochures, posters, signage, digital banners, social media content, and more.</li><li>
Collaborate with church and school departments to ensure all materials align with brand standards and effectively communicate the intended message.</li><li>
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>
Maintain and organize design files on cloud-based storage platforms.</li><li>
Keep up with current design trends, tools, and best practices in print and digital media.</li><li>
Work closely with the Communications team on campaigns and content calendar planning</li><li>
Work in cooperation with all levels of management, support staff, personnel, church leaders, volunteers, members and guests to fulfil the mission of Indian Rocks.</li><li>
Administer the work of the ministry programs by encouraging positive teamwork and mutual support of the Mission Statement of Indian Rocks.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Education: Degree or equivalent experience/coursework in Graphic Design, arts or related field</li><li>
Experience: Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong, diverse portfolio. (Please include a link to your portfolio in your application.) Experience with photography is a plus.</li><li>
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva.</li><li>
Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory.</li><li>
Self-motivated and capable of working independently when needed.</li><li>
Must be proficient in and able to:</li><li>
Prioritize, develop, and communicate realistic action plans.</li><li>
Delegate work assignments and oversee timelines and progress.</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal direction.</li><li>
Cultivate an ongoing cooperative relationship between church, school, membership, and community.</li><li>
Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the; The Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks</li><li>
Must be an active member of Indian Rocks as defined as: Regular attendance in worship services, Regular attendance/involvement in an Indian Rocks Connection Group or Small Group, and Commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.</li><li>
Responsible to perform the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Associate Pastors, or Personnel Committee.</li></ul><p>
