Job Description</b></h2>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Purpose</b></h4>
<p>
The Data Fellow will work under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator, and will be responsible for designing and implementing data analytics models to support the initiative of the state project including the grievances raised in the CM Connect helpline for that district under various sectors/domains like education, women&rsquo;s safety, health and sanitation, higher education, e-governance etc. The Data Research Fellow will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting complex and large datasets using statistical software to provide insights that will inform decision-making for the programme.</p>

Job Outline</b><br>
</h4>
<ul><li>Collaborate with the Programme Coordinator, and stakeholders/departments/ministries to identify data needs and priorities for the project.</li>
<li>Develop and implement predictive modeling, clustering, classification, and regression algorithms to analyze complex and large datasets.</li>
<li>Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from various districts and state departments.</li>
<li>Collect, process, and clean data from multiple sources to ensure data quality and completeness.</li>
<li>Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data insights and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Work with the Programme Coordinator and team to design and implement a rigorous research design using advanced statistical methods for causal inference.</li>

<b>Knowledge / Education:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Postgraduate (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields)</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Specific Skills:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Have over 3 years of working experience in a similar field.</li>
<li>Strong experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.</li>
<li>Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Familiarity with advanced statistical methods for causal inference.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of database technologies and data management.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li>
