Position OverviewThe QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring all mechanical and piping fabrication works meet required quality standards, project specifications, codes, and client requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with production, clients, and third-party agencies. NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) certification is mandatory.Key Responsibilities1. Quality Assurance &amp; Control<ul><li>Implement and monitor the project Quality Plan, ITPs, Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures.</li><li>Conduct inspections for piping fabrication, welding, fit-up, and final dimensional checks.</li><li>Ensure all fabrication activities comply with ASME, API, ANSI, and project standards.</li></ul>2. NDT &amp; Welding Inspection<ul><li>Perform or supervise NDT activities: RT, UT, MT, PT (as per certification level).</li><li>Review NDT reports, interpret results, and ensure corrective actions.</li><li>Verify WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification Records (WQR/WQT).</li></ul>3. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, CARs, material traceability, weld maps, and final documentation.</li><li>Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments and welding machines.</li></ul>4. Material &amp; Fabrication Control<ul><li>Conduct material inspection (plates, pipes, fittings, consumables).</li><li>Verify heat numbers, MTCs, and ensure correct material usage.</li><li>Inspect spool fabrication, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and reinstatement.</li></ul>5. Coordination &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies.</li><li>Monitor site quality compliance and train site teams on quality standards.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>NDT Level II certification (RT/UT/MT/PT mandatory).</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;8 years experience in mechanical piping fabrication QA/QC.</li><li>Good knowledge of ASME Section IX, B31.3 / B31.1, API standards.</li><li>Experience in pressure vessels, pipelines, structural fabrication (optional).</li><li>Strong documentation and communication skill</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;45,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Leave encashment</li></ul>Work Location: In person
