Your Role 
 
Key responsibilities in your new role 
<ul><li>
Provide technical support to automotive customers during evaluation, integration, and development of Automotive Ethernet solutions.
</li><li>Perform hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and issue replication on customer platforms and evaluation kits.
</li><li>Track, analyze, and drive resolution of customer technical issues</li>
<li>Develop and deliver customer training, application workshops, and trade show demonstrations.
</li><li>Create customer-facing technical documentation, including integration guides, application notes, API documentation, and training materials.
</li><li>Partner with Product Management, Design Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure product capabilities align with customer requirements and market needs.</li></ul> 

Your Profile 
 
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed<ul><li>
Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.</li>
<li>At least 3 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer, Systems Engineer in automotive or ethernet applications. With hands-on experience in debugging.</li>
<li>Skills in C, Python programming, scripting, schematics review, PCB layout review</li>
<li>Understanding of SerDes protocols and interfaces like: xxBASE-T1, I2C, MDC/MDIO, QSPI
</li><li>Knowledge of Ethernet PHYs, Switches and Bridges products</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset with a strong drive to succeed</li></ul>

Develop, verify, and execute test software for modules and applications on Infineon 32‑bit microcontroller architectures using virtual prototypes and hardware emulation platforms (PERSPEC and Cadence Palladium)</li><li>
Analyze system behavior, debug issues and perform root‑cause analysis</li><li>
Port and execute test software on real microcontroller hardware and support bring‑up activities</li><li>
Perform functional and robustness testing in multi‑CPU microcontroller environments</li><li>
Develop automation analysis tools (e.g., Python or Perl) for data logging, diagnostics, and test evaluation</li><li>
Support system‑level validation, including robustness and EMC‑related test scenarios</li><li>
Document results and collaborate closely with architecture, design, and validation teams to support pre‑ and post- silicon verification of next‑generation microcontrollers</li></ul>

At least 3&ndash;5 years of relevant professional experience in microcontroller architectures and interfaces, ideally with focus on embedded software development or module/application test software</li><li>
Experience with debugging, system bring‑up, and troubleshooting in embedded systems</li><li>
Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Perl, or similar), ideally also AI/LLM‑assisted workflows</li><li>

A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related areas</li><li>
Minimum 5 years of work experience in GUI software development or electronic design automation (EDA) area or a related technical area</li><li>
Very good programming skills with focus on Qt and C++/C in a Windows and UNIX environment</li><li>
Very good knowledge about UI development environments, libraries (e.g., Boost, &hellip;), build environments (CMake, QMake&hellip;), parsers/scanners(bison, flex, &hellip;) and interpreted programing languages (Python, Perl, &hellip;)</li><li>
