Summary Description: 
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Field Support Technician to provide support of hardware and software solutions deployed in clerical, clinical, and work-from-home environments. This position will work under the general supervision of the client's IT Operations Team Lead, Manager, and/or Director. In this role, you will need the expertise to resolve end user problems as presented from the end user through various service request channels. You will be responsible for providing support to team members to complete various daily tasks such as computer imaging as well as hardware and software deployment. As IT Operations Field Support Specialist, you will provide basic support for network equipment, phone systems, and other IT infrastructure. 
 
Daily Responsibilities<ul><li>
Assist staff with the installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines</li><li>
Computer imaging and hardware troubleshooting of both laptop and desktop computers along with a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems and accompanying software</li><li>
Maintain inventory levels and facilitate and track shipments of IT equipment to end users</li><li>
Act as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for various IT and Operational projects and evolutions</li><li>
Monitor and complete all support and project-related tasks and activities</li><li>
Enter, monitor, and complete all entries in the Support Desk tracking system, which includes stating the issues, listing all troubleshooting steps, providing a resolution, and marking the records as complete</li><li>
Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other IT teams such as Clinical Applications, IS Admins, and Infrastructure to resolve user issues</li><li>
Utilize industry best practices to maintain appropriate level of LAN/WAN and computer systems security as established</li><li>
Identify and work with Cyber Team support staff to rectify any noted deficiencies</li><li>
Other duties and responsibilities as requested</li></ul>
Skills and Education:<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology or related discipline</li><li>
2 years of hands-on experience in desktop/user support within a corporate or clinical environment</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and endpoint management tools</li><li>
Current and valid driver's license in good standing with vehicle access or the ability to secure transportation as needed</li><li>
Proven ability to support remote users and troubleshoot VPN or remote connectivity issues</li><li>
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent support requests</li><li>
Excellent communication skills and customer-service abilities with a professional and patient demeanor</li><li>
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+ preferred</li><li>
Previous experience in healthcare, financial, or regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.) preferred</li></ul>

 Under the directions of the Coding Services Supervisor and Manager, this position will be responsible for CPT and ICD-10 coding and ensuring accuracy and maximum reimbursement and minimizing denials.

 Responsibilities:

 Assigns accurately and sequences appropriately ICD-10 and CPT codes and all applicable modifiers
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 
 Contacts clients as appropriate when documentation in the medical record is inadequate, ambiguous or unclear for coding purposes.
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 
 Monitors regulatory and payer changes as they apply to diagnostic and procedure coding
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 
 Research and resolve coding related system edits, payer rejections and insurance denials.
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 
 Identify system edit, payer rejection and insurance denial trends for client policy and procedure improvement.

 <li>
 
 
 
 
 
 Maintains up to date knowledge of the current changes of coding practices by continuing education and reading resource material.

 Skills and Education:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or GED
 </li>
 <li>
 1-3 years of experience in medical coding and auditing, and/or customer service
 </li>
 <li>
 Nationally recognized coding credential including, but not limited to CPC, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT through AHIMA/AAPC
 </li>
 <li>
 1-3+ years of experience&nbsp;in outpatient physician and/or multi-specialty coding
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of CPT, HCPCS, CDT, and ICD-10 codes as well as medical terminology
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of medical business and revenue cycle operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Functioning knowledge of Office Applications (Word, Excel, Email etc.)&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and concisely to coworkers, clients, patients, and others
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members, as well as supervisors, managers, clients, staff, and providers
 </li>
