As a Senior Manager at Global Payments, you will take ownership for the delivery of business critical products. We are looking for someone to manage a delivery team that can lead innovation, drive improvements, set technical direction, and consistently meet the needs of the business.
You will:<ul><li>
Manage technical talent acquisition, growth and retention</li><li>
Work with product and key stakeholders to set desired product roadmaps</li><li>
Drive critical improvements to stay ahead of the growing business needs</li><li>
Evaluate new technologies and delivery practices</li><li>
Drive accurate and efficient project estimates</li><li>
Create project plans, identify dependencies and risks, and allocate resources</li><li>
Develop capacity plans and skills assessments</li><li>
Stay up to date on the latest security threats and secure application design and coding practices</li><li>
Manage third party consultants</li><li>
Lead the design, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, security and scalability of your solutions</li><li>
Foster a culture to stay on top of technology trends and participate in technology communities</li><li>
Encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity</li><li>
Lead and mentor a team of development, quality assurance, and support engineers</li><li>
Simultaneously drive multiple large initiatives potentially across multiple scrum teams</li><li>
Prepare and present technical presentations and project status</li><li>
Provide required information for the annual budget</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
3 years or more experience in software development management</li><li>
13 years or more experience in .NET and/or java software development</li><li>
Expert level proficiency in agile practices and project management</li><li>
Real-time processing and high-volume service development experience</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
4+ years&rsquo; experience in software development management</li><li>
Experience developing and managing cloud solutions</li><li>
Payments industry experience</li></ul>
