Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Senior Linux DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical systems within a classified environment. This role is designing, automating, securing, and sustaining hybrid Linux and Windows infrastructure supporting naval operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep Linux expertise, strong DevSecOps experience, and a security-first mindset capable of operating in highly regulated DoD environments.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:</h3><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Linux Systems Engineering:</h3><ul><li>Engineer, harden, and maintain enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, or equivalent).</li><li>Implement and maintain DISA STIG-compliant configurations.</li><li>Perform system lifecycle management, patching, and vulnerability remediation.</li><li>Support identity integration (LDAP, Kerberos, AD integration).</li><li>Troubleshoot system, kernel, and performance-level issues.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
DevSecOps &amp; Automation:</h3><ul><li>Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.</li><li>Integrate Linux systems into CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.</li><li>Support containerized workloads using Podman, Docker, or Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.</li><li>Contribute to secure image development aligned with hardened baselines.</li><li>Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and compliance validation.</li><li>Support integration with security scanning platforms and vulnerability management tools.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Cloud &amp; SWAN Integration:</h3><ul><li>Support IL5/IL6 cloud-hosted Linux environments where applicable.</li><li>Ensure secure connectivity and segmentation within classified enclaves.</li><li>Collaborate with Windows and cloud engineers to ensure hybrid environment interoperability.</li><li>Participate in architecture reviews to ensure secure-by-design implementations.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Security &amp; Compliance:</h3><ul><li>Ensure compliance with RMF controls and NIST 800-53 security requirements.</li><li>Support vulnerability scanning (ACAS/SCAP) and remediation activities.</li><li>Maintain documentation including system diagrams, SOPs, and configuration baselines.</li><li>Contribute to ATO sustainment and continuous monitoring activities.</li></ul>

Senior Linux DevOps Engineer

<div>Description:

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced NMCI Lead to oversee and coordinate NMCI support operations including IT Store services, Moves/Adds/Changes (MAC), Mobile Device support, and WinDAR asset management functions. This role serves as the primary operational lead responsible for ensuring compliance with NMCI processes, maintaining service quality, and coordinating day-to-day activities across supported functional areas. The NMCI Lead works directly with government stakeholders to ensure timely execution of requirements while maintaining strict adherence to Navy and DoD policies.

Core Responsibilities<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Operational Leadership</h3><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for NMCI operational matters.</li><li>Coordinate daily activities across IT Store, MAC, Mobile, and WinDAR functions.</li><li>Ensure adherence to NMCI processes, SLAs, and Navy compliance standards.</li><li>Track performance metrics and provide status updates to leadership.</li><li>Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions as needed.</li><li>Provide task coordination and workflow guidance.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
IT Store Support</h3><ul><li>Oversee NMCI IT Store operations including equipment issuance and returns.</li><li>Ensure accurate processing of hardware/software requests within NMCI systems.</li><li>Maintain compliance with property accountability and asset tracking procedures.</li><li>Support customer engagement for hardware refresh and lifecycle management.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Moves / Adds / Changes (MAC)</h3><ul><li>Coordinate workstation relocations, reconfigurations, and new installations.</li><li>Ensure proper NMCI request submission and tracking for MAC activities.</li><li>Validate network connectivity, port activation, and workstation readiness.</li><li>Ensure minimal disruption to operational users during MAC execution.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Mobile Device Support</h3><ul><li>Oversee provisioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of government-issued mobile devices.</li><li>Support NMCI mobility services including device enrollment and configuration.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Navy mobile security policies and configuration standards.</li><li>Coordinate mobile device refresh and replacement cycles.</li></ul>

NMCI Service Desk Lead

<div>Description: 
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with strong experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment &amp; Authorization (A&amp;A) processes to serve as the primary cybersecurity resource supporting a system Authority to Operate (ATO). This role operates independently with minimal direct supervision and is responsible for managing day-to-day RMF execution activities. The engineer will have local reach back support to a broader cybersecurity team but will function as the primary practitioner for ATO lifecycle activities.
100% onsite.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Primary RMF / A&amp;A Execution<ul><li>Execute RMF activities in accordance with NIST SP 800-37, DoDI 8510.01, and Navy RMF guidance.</li><li>Develop, update, and maintain A&amp;A documentation including System Security Plans (SSP), Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTM), POA&amp;Ms, and supporting artifacts.</li><li>Manage and maintain eMASS packages through authorization and continuous monitoring phases.</li><li>Coordinate directly with Authorizing Officials (AOs), Security Control Assessors (SCAs), ISSMs, ISSOs, and system engineers.</li><li>Prepare systems for ATO, ATO renewal, and interim authorization milestones.</li><li>Independently track package status, milestones, and required artifacts to ensure timely authorization.</li></ul>
Security Control Implementation &amp; Validation<ul><li>Validate implementation of NIST SP 800-53 security controls.</li><li>Support DISA STIG implementation and remediation tracking.</li><li>Review system configurations, architecture diagrams, and data flows for security compliance.</li><li>Analyze ACAS, SCAP, or equivalent vulnerability scan results and document corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain accurate and actionable POA&amp;Ms.</li></ul>
Continuous Monitoring &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Develop and maintain continuous monitoring strategies and documentation.</li><li>Track cybersecurity posture and risk metrics for reporting to government stakeholders.</li><li>Support impact analysis for system changes and configuration updates.</li><li>Ensure alignment with enclave-specific requirements.</li></ul>
Collaboration &amp; Advisory Support<ul><li>Provide cybersecurity guidance to system, network, and cloud engineers.</li><li>Identify security gaps and recommend risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Coordinate with enterprise cybersecurity teams for policy alignment and reachback support.</li><li>Support audit readiness and inspection activities.</li></ul>
