Job Summary:The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all heavy equipment is maintained, repaired, and serviced in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and safety for rental operations.Key Responsibilities:Workshop &amp; Team Management<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the activities of technicians and mechanics in the workshop.</li><li>Schedule and allocate daily work based on job priorities and equipment requirements.</li><li>Ensure workshop operations are performed efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner.</li><li>Monitor technician performance and provide training or guidance as needed.</li></ul>Equipment Maintenance &amp; Repair<ul><li>Oversee diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance of heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, generators).</li><li>Ensure adherence to OEM standards and safety regulations.</li><li>Approve completed jobs after final inspection and testing.</li><li>Track equipment service records and history for fleet health monitoring.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Spare Parts Management<ul><li>Monitor stock levels of parts and consumables.</li><li>Coordinate with the procurement team for parts requisition and inventory control.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and labeling of spare parts.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of work orders, service reports, and maintenance logs.</li><li>Generate daily, weekly, and monthly workshop performance reports.</li><li>Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.</li></ul>Health, Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Enforce safety standards and conduct safety briefings.</li><li>Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated.</li><li>Comply with environmental and health regulations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 5&ndash;7 years in heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Certifications: Relevant technical certifications; safety training is an advantage.</li><li>Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics tools.</li><li>Software Skills: Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS), MS Office Suite.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
