 This is not a hands-on clinical role. It is report-based and requires strong report writing skills and comfort with structured frameworks.
 
 
 
 
 The Role
 
 
 
 
 
 
 As a Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you&rsquo;ll use your clinical reasoning to assess how health conditions impact daily living.
 
 
 You will:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments
 </li>
 <li>
 Review medical evidence and complete clinical triage
 </li>
 <li>
 Use focused questioning and active listening
 </li>
 <li>
 Produce clear, structured reports to strict standards that enable DWP decision making.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 What You Need
 
 
 
 To be considered, you must have:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Minimum 12 months&rsquo; recent UK post-registration experience
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Have been a practicing as a clinician in the UK over the last 12 months.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience working with a wide range of adult conditions across different clinical scenarios
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written communication skills and be comfortable using computers.
 </li>
 <li>
 High attention to detail and objectivity
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 This role will suit clinicians who:

 <li>
 Are confident assessing varied health conditions (physical, mental health, long-term)
 </li>
 <li>
 Can adapt their clinical reasoning across different patient presentations
 </li>
 <li>
 Are comfortable producing detailed written reports
 </li>

 Training &amp; Working Pattern
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 6 months supported training to achieve DWP approval
 </li>
 <li>
 Hybrid working post-training
 </li>
 <li>
 Full-time hours with predictable schedule
 </li>

 Up to 10% annual bonus (paid quarterly)
 </li>

 Starting salary - &pound;46,813.50.
 
 Salary at 12 months - &pound;48,813.50 +
 
 potential to earn an
 
 additional &pound;2000
 
 local bonus for this site.
