Starting Wage: $20.00/hour - $21.00/hour
Shift: Days
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm
Typical Day in the Role:
This position is responsible for receiving and distributing materials to inventory and/or other internal locations. Packages and ships finished materials according to the customer's specifications and guidelines.

<ul><li>Efficiently receives and distributes materials.
</li></ul></li><li>Timely Shipments
<ul><li>Efficiently picks and packs customer orders for shipment, while ensuring on time deliveries.</li></ul></li><li>
Safe Workplace
<ul><li>Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.</li><li>
Conducts operations in compliance with Inland safety policy.</li></ul></li><li>
Efficient Workplace
<ul><li>Transports orders to delivery and shipping locations with material handling equipment.</li><li>
Inspects and performs minor maintenance on equipment. Conducts physical inventories as required.</li></ul></li><li>
Accurate Transactions
<ul><li>Ensures correct quantity and product is loaded, shipped, or received.</li><li>
Repacks and weighs any orders that require such handling.</li><li>
Records appropriate data in ERP system.</li><li>
Contacts and coordinates freight pick up with vendors.</li><li>
Supports and communicates with Sales and Operations as to the status of their job completion.</li><li>
Maintains and orders additional shipping supplies.
</li></ul></li><li>Productivity Measurements Met
<ul><li>Meets standards for productivity and supports new process and procedures for increased productivity levels.</li></ul></li><li>
Is trained and follows all Inland policies while working with hazardous waste.</li></ul>
Essential skills and experience:<ul><li>
High school diploma or general education degree required</li><li>
Valid driver license with good driving record</li><li>
Computer literate</li><li>
Knowledge of shipping programs required.</li><li>
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.</li></ul>
Work Environment:<ul><li>
Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented manufacturing environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments.</li><li>
Works with a variety of people including vendors, customers, employees, managers, and executives.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Walk, sit, bend, stoop, push, pull and stand; lift 100 pounds</li><li>
Visual acuity corrected to 20/40.</li></ul></div>
