Position Overview:
As a Ramp Agent you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services will providing highest level of customer service, keeping passenger and aircraft moving safely and on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
&bull; Properly and safely loads and unloads freight. Including build up and break down of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines
&bull; Holds equipment certifications and operates equipment safely
&bull; Obtains proper security documents for all shipments
&bull; Verifies upon receipt from customer shipment pieces, weight, dimensions and airworthiness
&bull; Verifies upon delivery to customer shipment pieces and airway bill numbers
Required Skills and Experience:
&bull; High school diploma or equivalent preferred
&bull; Maintain and treat all information as confidential
&bull; Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives
&bull; Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
&bull; Must be able to verbally direct in English
&bull; A Real ID or valid Passport is required for this position.
Work Environment:
&bull; Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment
&bull; Outdoor - prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles
Physical Demands:
&bull; Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms;
&bull; Must be able to speak and hear efficiently
&bull; Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times
&bull; Ability to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in height
&bull; Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling

</li></ul>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Participate in performing checks on Ground Service Equipment (GSE), trucks, and servicing equipment as needed.
</li><li>Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records and conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of equipment to keep it in a safe and operational condition at all times.
</li><li>Assess and respond to necessary repairs and maintenance of all GSE as assigned.
</li><li>Communicate daily with team members and leadership to ensure that all are informed about equipment status and expected outcome from the next shift on maintenance items that are outstanding.
</li><li>Ensure a safe environment during the operations and that all company policies and procedures are being followed correctly.
</li><li>Travel to other QAS Airport stations
</li><li>Uphold and follow the duties related to operations according to procedures for both airlines and Quantem Aviation Services.
</li><li>Promote consistent reinforcement and adherence to Quantem Aviation Services' mission, values, and purpose to instill its core beliefs.
</li><li>Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits.
</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by management.
</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
<ul><li>Must be 18 years or older
</li><li>Valid U.S. driver's license
</li><li>High School Diploma or completion of GED and professional experience
</li><li>Must have own basic tools (screw drivers, hammers, pliers, volt meter etc.). Sockets and wrenches up to 1 inch in size and also up-to a &frac12;&rdquo; drive
</li><li>Must be able to pass required background and clearance requirements to obtain an airport badge
</li><li>This position requires an employee to obtain a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seal. Orlando FL CBP requires US citizenship or US permanent resident status in order to receive a CBP seal.
</li><li>Must be available to travel 30% per year minimum
</li><li>Knowledge of fluid types, diesel-powered machines, and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
</li><li>Working knowledge of manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
</li><li>Diagnostic experience particularly with diesel-powered machines, preferably with GSE used by ground handlers (tugs, Bobtails, Forklifts and etc.)
</li><li>Direct working knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems.
</li><li>Day shift schedules (including, weekends, and holidays)
</li><li>Ability to travel for training if needed
</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Prior experience with information entry into a CMMS system
</li><li>Previous fleet, Mechanic shop or, dealership work experience preferred.
</li><li>Previous experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and Hydraulics systems
</li><li>Experience with GSE and or, mobile field service trucks associated equipment.
</li><li>ASE or manufacturer certifications highly desirable.

<ul><li>Ability to travel on short notice to other QAS airports stations to meet immediate business needs may be required.
</li><li>30% - 40% per year, company vehicle will be provided for travel distances 6 hours or, less away. Airfare will be provided for any distances beyond 6 hours.
