We are seeking a dynamic and creative Art Teacher to lead engaging art workshops at our store in Hawali, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in visual arts and a passion for sharing their knowledge with participants of all ages. This role involves not only teaching various art techniques but also fostering a welcoming and interactive environment where participants feel encouraged to express their creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing workshop curricula that cater to different skill levels and artistic interests, ensuring a fun and educational experience for all attendees.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and deliver engaging art workshops that inspire creativity and cater to participants of varying skill levels.</li><li>Communicate effectively with participants, providing clear instructions and fostering a supportive atmosphere.</li><li>Demonstrate various art techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and mixed media, to enhance participants' understanding and skills.</li><li>Assess participant progress throughout workshops and provide constructive feedback to encourage artistic growth.</li><li>Organize and facilitate community art events and exhibitions to showcase participants' artwork and promote engagement.</li><li>Maintain an organized and well-stocked workshop space, ensuring all materials are available and safe for use.</li><li>Stay updated on current trends in art and education to continually improve workshop offerings and teaching methods.</li><li>Collaborate with store management to promote workshops and engage with the community through marketing efforts.</li><li>Encourage participants to explore their creativity and develop their unique artistic voice.</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and artistic knowledge.</li></ul>Preferred Candidate:<ul><li>Arab Nationality</li><li>A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing personal artistic work.</li><li>Experience in teaching or conducting art workshops, preferably in a retail or community setting.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of participants.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workshops and projects simultaneously.</li><li>A genuine passion for art and education, with a commitment to fostering creativity in others.</li><li>Experience with integrating technology into art workshops, such as using digital tools for creating art.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with store staff and engage with the local community effectively.</li><li>Strong understanding of child and adult development, creating age-appropriate and skill-appropriate workshop content.</li><li>A willingness to adapt workshops based on participant feedback and interests.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with art education trends.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Artistic Skills: Proficiency in various art techniques, including painting, drawing, and mixed media, enabling the teacher to effectively guide participants in their artistic endeavors.</li><li>Workshop Facilitation: Strong skills in leading workshops, creating an engaging and interactive environment where participants feel comfortable expressing their creativity.</li><li>Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for conveying artistic concepts and providing clear instructions to participants.</li><li>Curriculum Development: Ability to design and implement workshop curricula that cater to different skill levels and interests, ensuring a fulfilling learning experience.</li><li>Community Engagement: Experience in building relationships with the community and promoting art initiatives, fostering participation in workshops and events.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
