Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified General Neurologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions and perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and Electromyography (EMGs). This role combines clinical expertise with procedural proficiency to deliver comprehensive neurological care.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Clinical Care</li><li>
Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.</li><li>
Conduct thorough neurological examinations and interpret findings.</li><li>
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.</li><li>
Procedural Duties</li><li>
Perform and interpret EEGs to assess electrical activity of the brain.</li><li>
Conduct EMGs and nerve conduction studies to evaluate neuromuscular function.</li><li>
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results.</li><li>
Collaboration &amp; Education</li><li>
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.</li><li>
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.</li><li>
Stay current with advancements in neurology and neurodiagnostic technology.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited neurology residency.</li><li>
Board Certification in Neurology (ABPN or equivalent).</li><li>
Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEGs and EMGs.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.</li></ul>
Preferred Skills:<ul><li>
Familiarity with CPT coding for neurology procedures (e.g., 99204, 99214, 95886, 95913).</li><li>
Ability to manage workflow efficiently and reduce no-show rates.</li><li>
Experience in outpatient clinic.</li></ul>
