Job Summary:
Applies and modifies the principles, methods, and techniques of medicine to provide primary patient care. Work closely with Practice Administrator &amp; Case Manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care. Cooperates with management in helping to achieve company objectives and deliver quality care to patients. Evaluates medical procedures and everyday situations and suggests ways to improve delivery of quality service.

</li></ul>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provides medical treatment to patients.
</li><li>Charts all patient interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
</li><li>Work closely with Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
</li><li>Communicate and works with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high-quality medical treatment and client services.
</li><li>Complies with ethical, legal &amp; professional guidelines.
</li><li>Complies with applicable regulations and with corporate policies and procedures to stay in compliance.
</li><li>Complies with quality assurance for all medical issues and assists in the solution of any medical problems.
</li><li>Contributes solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems.
</li><li>Protects clinic assets and property against loss or waste through negligence or dishonesty.
</li><li>Participates in implementing special medical projects and services, such as on-site services.
</li><li>Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
</li></ul>Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from a U.S. accredited institution or equivalent licensing required to comply to practice medicine in the U.S. in the instance of foreign graduate training.
</li><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and/or Geriatric Medicine
</li><li>Valid, unrestricted license in the state which employment is located (or able to obtain)
</li><li>Active/Unrestricted DEA license
</li><li>Active BLS
</li><li>Active ACLS
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Two years' experience in out-patient setting
</li><li>Active/Unrestricted Medicare and Medicaid numbers
</li><li>Commercial and Medicare Advantage patient management (Value-Based Care)
</li><li>Knowledge of Medicare coverage and guidelines
</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication
</li><li>Excellent attention to detail
</li><li>Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
</li><li>Good interpersonal skills
</li><li>Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
</li><li>Ability to move and manipulate patients
</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
</li><li>Computer/Technology Savvy &ndash; Microsoft Programs (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Athena EMR, etc.
</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul><li>Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment.
</li><li>Knowledge of organizational and medical policies, regulations, and procedures.
</li><li>Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
</li><li>Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe medical environment.
</li><li>Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
</li><li>Skill in developing and maintaining medical quality assurance and quality control standards.
</li><li>Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, medical staff, and the general public.
</li><li>Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations.
</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and clients.
</li><li>Good telephone manners and etiquette.
</li><li>Strong organizational skills; orientation to detail.
</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and work effectively with others.
