Overview We are seeking a highly organized, competent, proactive, self-directed and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and management of clinical research studies. You will work closely with the research team to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.Duties - Coordinate and oversee all aspects of clinical research studies - Develop and maintain study protocols, informed consent forms, and other study-related documents - Recruit and screen potential study participants - Collect and manage data according to study protocols - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Monitor participant safety and report adverse events as necessary - Assist with the preparation of study reports and presentations - Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory agencies as neededExperience To be successful in this role, you should have: - A strong understanding of FDA regulations and GCP guidelines - Experience in clinical trials management and standards - Proficiency in data management and collection - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Knowledge of research methodologies and study design - Familiarity with compliance management in clinical research - Ability to perform vital signs measurements accuratelyMinimum QualificationsEducation:-High school diploma is required; individuals pursuing a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a health-related field pre-med, pre-pharmacy, or pre-nursing are preferred.Work Experience:-Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 1-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.Preferred QualificationsEducation:-Successful completion of a full 4-year course degree at an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as social or health science or related or appropriate combination of education and experience.-Must complete the CITI training before interacting with any participants and must re-certify every 3 years.Work Experience:-Experience with health coaching, health education, and/or motivational interviewing.-Experience with primary data entry and analysis.-Experience working with human research subjects.Preferred Competencies-Ability to interact and communicate with clarity, tact, and courtesy with patrons, patients, staff, faculty, students, and others.-Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills.-Excellent interpersonal skills.-Self-directed, proactive and timely.-Strong data management skills and attention to detail.-Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is a plus).-Ability to understand complex documents (e.g., clinical trials).-Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly.-Adaptability to changing working situations and work assignments.-Knowledge or experience with EDC and EMR Systems.If you are passionate about clinical research and have the necessary experience, we would love to hear from you.
