We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and experienced IT Expert to manage and strengthen the technological infrastructure of our institution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a strong understanding of modern IT systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.This role is suited for professionals who are passionate about technology-driven innovation, operational efficiency, and maintaining a secure, reliable IT environment. As an IT Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all technology platforms that support academic and administrative operations.Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure Management<ul><li>Manage, maintain, and optimize the organization&rsquo;s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, and enterprise applications.</li><li>Ensure system performance, scalability, and uptime through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Administer user accounts, access controls, and data backup procedures.</li></ul>2. IT Security &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Implement, monitor, and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard institutional data.</li><li>Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and system audits to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.</li></ul>3. Technical Leadership &amp; Project Management<ul><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance for IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and new deployments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with institutional goals.</li><li>Develop project documentation, timelines, and technical specifications for smooth execution.</li></ul>4. Troubleshooting &amp; Support<ul><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.</li><li>Maintain high system availability and implement effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans.</li><li>Provide timely end-user support and ensure minimal disruption to academic and administrative activities.</li></ul>5. Technology Evaluation &amp; Innovation<ul><li>Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and innovation.</li><li>Recommend system improvements, automation opportunities, and digital transformation strategies.</li><li>Align IT capabilities with the institution&rsquo;s long-term business and academic objectives.</li></ul>6. Vendor &amp; Asset Management<ul><li>Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure timely delivery of IT services and support.</li><li>Manage IT contracts, licenses, and subscriptions to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventories, and IT infrastructure records.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills RequiredMinimum Qualification Required:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li></ul>Preferred Qualification:<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in IT/Computer Science; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or similar.</li></ul>Experience Required:<ul><li>At least 2&ndash;3 years of progressive experience in IT roles involving systems management, networking, and security.</li></ul>Technical &amp; Soft Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in network administration, system configuration, and cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).</li><li>Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and data protection practices.</li><li>Hands-on experience with hardware/software troubleshooting and IT service management.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Opportunities for continuous learning and professional certification support.</li><li>A collaborative and technology-forward institutional culture.</li><li>Access to cutting-edge tools, software, and innovation platforms.</li><li>A supportive environment that values efficiency, integrity, and growth.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
