United Group Services (UGS) is currently seeking industrial Pipe Welders to perform work at our client site in Apple Grove, West Virginia.Day and Night shifts are available -- $2/hour shift differential for night shift!Call us at today at (800) 633-9690 to speak with a recruiter and schedule an onsite weld test in Apple Grove, West Virginia.We Offer:<ul><li>Steady, year-round work with multiple projects across the U.S.</li><li>Competitive wages &ndash; Up to $38, depending on experience + $2 more for night shift!</li><li>Per Diem - $120 per days worked</li><li>Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, Paid Time Off, and 401k</li><li>A progressive career path with opportunities for growth</li></ul>Job Duties:<ul><li>Perform various types of welding and soldering on pipes and fittings according to blueprints and schematics.</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, calipers, and tube bending tools for fabrication and assembly.</li><li>Conduct rigging and lifting operations safely to position pipes and components during installation.</li><li>Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to pipe fitting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and pipeline assembly.</li><li>Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of work performed in compliance with project requirements.</li><li>Assist with maintenance tasks related to piping systems as needed.</li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>At least 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of welding and pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials.</li><li>Welders must certify with UGS by taking our Weld test.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.</li><li>Proficiency using precision tools such as calipers for accurate measurements.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing pipefitting work.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions safely and accurately.</li></ul>About UGS:UGS is a leader in industrial construction, serving clients across a multitude of industries through the planning and execution of large-scale projects at operational and manufacturing facilities, power plants, refineries, and more.
