<div>About the Role 
Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist/Mental Health Clinician to provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents in a structured juvenile detention center setting. This role involves working with youth diagnosed with a range of Axis I disorders, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Position Details 
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 16 hours per week.<ul><li>
Available shifts are Mondays and Thursdays from either 8:00 AM &ndash; 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM.</li><li>
Scheduling flexibility may be required based on facility needs.</li></ul>
Core Responsibilities<ul><li>
Manage a caseload of 8&ndash;12 youth</li><li>
Provide individual therapy, group counseling, and family engagement sessions (45&ndash;60 minutes)</li><li>
Facilitate weekly psychoeducational groups (1 hour)</li><li>
Conduct required screenings, assessments, and follow-ups</li><li>
Provide crisis intervention services and complete corresponding documentation</li><li>
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation</li><li>
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including youth staffings</li><li>
Collaborate effectively with the behavioral health team</li></ul>
Qualifications and Requirements<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field</li><li>
Active Maryland licensure (e.g., LGPC, LCPC, ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LCADC, LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C)</li><li>
Minimum of three (3) years of professional counseling experience</li><li>
Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in juvenile justice or similar settings</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Proficiency with technology (e.g., Google Docs)</li><li>
Ability to pass federal, state, and Child Protective Services (CPS) background checks</li><li>
Reliable transportation</li></ul>
