We are seeking a highly experienced <b>Apache Superset Expert &amp; Administrator</b> to lead, manage, and optimize our open-source BI and visualization platform. This senior role requires deep expertise in Superset administration, dashboard development, performance optimization, and integration with enterprise ecosystems. The candidate must bring hands-on knowledge of coding, DevOps, and governance practices to ensure Superset is scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.</div><p></p><p><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></p><br>
<ul><li>
Install, configure, and manage <b>Apache Superset</b> in production environments (Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, Kubernetes).<br>
</li><li>
Oversee <b>Superset administration</b>, including workspace management, user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security (RLS), and tenant isolation.<br>
</li><li>
Develop and optimize dashboards, leveraging <b>SQL, Python, and Jinja templating</b> for dynamic and reusable components.<br>
</li><li>
Enhance platform <b>look-and-feel</b> with <b>CSS, theming, and custom React-based visualizations</b>.<br>
</li><li>
Integrate Superset with external systems (databases, APIs, authentication systems like LDAP/OAuth/SAML).<br>
</li><li>
Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and tune Superset to support large-scale analytics workloads.<br>
</li><li>
Implement and maintain <b>DevOps practices</b>, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code for Superset.<br>
</li><li>
Collaborate with data engineering teams to build optimized pipelines for Superset consumption.<br>
</li><li>
Ensure <b>data governance, compliance, and security frameworks</b> are embedded in the BI layer.<br>
</li><li>
Provide <b>end-user support, training, and documentation</b> to business users and analysts.<br>
</li><li>
Research and implement custom features, plugins, or integrations as required.<br>

Act as the <b>primary point of contact</b> for Superset strategy, upgrades, and roadmap alignment with business needs.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Requirements:</b></p><br>
<ul><li>
5+ years of BI/analytics experience with at least <b>3 years of hands-on Apache Superset expertise</b>.<br>
</li><li>
Strong background in <b>SQL</b> and <b>data modeling</b> for BI applications.<br>
</li><li>
Proven track record of Superset administration: user/role management, security setup, and performance tuning.<br>
</li><li>
Proficiency with <b>Linux/Ubuntu</b>, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.<br>
</li><li>
Experience with <b>CSS, React, and frontend customization</b> to tailor Superset dashboards.<br>
</li><li>
Strong programming knowledge in <b>Python</b> (plugins, scripting, automation).<br>
</li><li>
Hands-on experience with <b>DevOps tools</b> (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Terraform, Ansible).<br>
</li><li>
Knowledge of authentication/integration methods (LDAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID).<br>
</li><li>
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).<br>
</li><li>
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.</li></ul><p><b><br>

Experience in <b>multi-tenant deployments</b> of Superset.<br>

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of analyzing business processes, identifying gaps, and driving process improvements across technology and business functions. This role will be central to bridging business, technology, and compliance requirements, ensuring successful execution of our SOC 2 program. <b>Key Responsibilities</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Assessment &amp; Scoping Conduct inventory of systems, applications, and processes in scope. Map SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria to applicable systems/processes. Controls Mapping &amp; Gap Analysis Perform detailed analysis of current development practices vs. SOC 2 requirements. Document gaps and define actionable remediation plans. Process Design &amp; Enhancement Develop and document SOPs, control policies, and compliance workflows. Collaborate with development, IT, and compliance teams to refine processes. Implementation Support Partner with teams to roll out compliance processes and tool configurations. Monitor adoption, identify challenges, and propose refinements. Evidence Collection &amp; Management Define mechanisms for capturing, storing, and tracking compliance evidence. Work with stakeholders to maintain dashboards/repositories linking controls to evidence. Monitoring &amp; Continuous Improvement Support internal audits, prepare compliance reports, and track KPIs. Recommend ongoing improvements to ensure evolving compliance effectiveness. <b>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Experience: 8&ndash;10 years in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or IT Compliance. Strong knowledge of SOC 2 compliance frameworks (or equivalent: ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS). Proven ability to perform gap analysis, control design, and documentation. Hands-on experience with SDLC processes, automation platforms, and logging/monitoring tools. Excellent skills in requirements gathering &amp; stakeholder management Experience on Process like ISO, CMMi etc., Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate compliance needs into operational processes. Excellent communication skills &ndash; able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. <b>Preferred Skills</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
</b>Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps). Familiarity with evidence management tools, GRC platforms, or compliance dashboards.
