<ul><li>Explain the investigational products development process and identify key regulations to control these processes.
</li><li>Identifies and explains key protocol elements and performs study tasks under direct supervision.
</li><li>Explains the variety of communication channels, roles and relationships and outlets for study results that impact the conduct of clinical research.
</li><li>Explains the importance of professional conduct and describe leadership principles that impact the effective operation of an investigative site.
</li>Explains and performs study operational activities in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and non-GCP related study management activities.

</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>Education: Education: Associate degree (or relevant experience in lieu of degree).
</li><li>Experience: Two (2) years of experience or 1-year clinical research experience with bachelor&rsquo;s degree.

</li></ul>Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator I Job Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provides patient education and medical information to study patients to ensure understanding of proper medication dosage, administration, and disease treatment.
</li><li>Delineates and defines the physiological status of the patient; assesses the educational, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient/significant other/family.
</li><li>Administers investigational medications and performs patient assessments during clinic visits to determine the presence of side effects; notifies treating investigator of findings/issues.
</li><li>Performs nursing duties as assigned and relevant to credentials and research study needs
</li><li>Identifies and explains key protocol elements; performs study tasks under direct supervision.
</li><li>Explains basic elements of subject safety including the reasoning behind the required use of an Institutional Review Board/Independent Ethics Committee, study activity documentation, and event reporting requirements. Demonstrates subject protection under direct supervision.
</li><li>Explains the investigational products development process and identify key regulations to control these processes.
</li><li>Explains and performs study operational activities in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and non-GCP related study management activities.
</li><li>Explains how to document data according to ALCOA-C (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate and Complete) principles.
</li><li>Explains the importance of professional conduct and describe leadership principles that impact the effective operation of an investigative site.
</li><li>Explains the variety of communication channels, roles and relationship and outlets for study results that impact the conduct of clinical research.
</li>May perform other duties as assigned.

</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>Education : BSN or AD. If RN has an AD, within six months from date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
</li><li>Experience : One (1) year of research training and/or protocol implementation.
</li><li>Certification : Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association; Must be eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse in VA 
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications :
<ul><li>Experience : Strong clinical background in: ICU/oncology/medicine; research</li></ul></div>

</li></ul>Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Explains procedures to patients and families and answers any questions to ease anxiety and ensure patient cooperation.
</li><li>Assists the physician in performing a variety of examinations by using standard department protocols, isolation precautions, and/or sterile techniques. Demonstrates proper technique for injection of radiopharmaceuticals under the American College of Radiology guidelines.
</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to recognize clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams while taking appropriate action to resolve them and produce the most desirable outcome.
</li><li>Correctly identifies patients and their files by utilizing electronic medical records and picture archiving/communication systems while ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
</li><li>Demonstrates the effective use of radiation protection procedures with shielding, collimation devices, and protective shielding per supervisor observation. Maintains exposure reading within the ALARA limits.
</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>Work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with on-call and holiday rotations
</li><li>Education: Associate Degree Nuclear Medicine Graduate of an accredited school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
</li><li>Licensure: Registered State Inspector - Virginia Within 3 Months Must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with one of Inova's hospitals. Must possess a state Nuclear Medicine Tech license if it is required by the state of employment and if employed at an Inova free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with one of Inova's Hospitals.
</li><li>Certification: CNMT or ARRT-N obtained within one year of hire date. Nuclear Medical Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date; Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Start
</li><li>Experience: Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.</li></ul></div>
