<div><div><b>Position Summary:</b></div>
<div>Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the following duties.</div>
<div>Estimator Specialist is a dedicated and customer-focused team member who provides exceptional service and support to the RGV. Estimator Specialist should possess strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently assist customers while maintaining branch operations to generate revenue. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while delivering excellent customer service and operational support.</div>
<div><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Maintain expert level of knowledge of current HVAC Commercial, Residential, Options, and Accessories.</li>
<li>Meet or exceed Regional Quotation goals and closure ratio.</li>
<li>Maintain and update weekly the Commercial Equipment Sales Scoreboard and provide management for review.</li>
<li>Provide commercial take-offs from Insco job board weekly and submit to Insco Contractors for bid as directed.</li>
<li>Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.</li>
<li>Computes cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work; preparing bids; selecting vendors or subcontractors; and determining cost effectiveness.</li>
<li>Interfaces with co-workers to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates in support of organizations goals &amp; values</li>
<li>Negotiates prices for market and spec work with vendor.</li>
<li>Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.</li>
<li>Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hours and related cost data or effect cost reductions.</li>
<li>Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.</li>
<li>Contribute to organizations cost &amp; profit by developing &amp; implementing cost saving measures.</li>
<li>Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.</li>
<li>Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized.</li>
<li>Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.</li>
</ul><div><b>Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong product knowledge with the ability to provide recommendations and solutions.</li>
<li>Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures.</li>
<li>Can Identify, Analyze, and Resolve problems in a timely &amp; professional manner.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Microsoft Office Suite &amp; POS/ERP System Knowledge</li>
<li>Experience with data entry and inventory management systems preferred.</li>
<li>Physical ability to lift and handle products safely.</li>
<li>Read and interpret safety rules, operational, and technical documents</li>
</ul><div><b>Education &amp; Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)</li>
<li>Two Years of HVAC Industry experience Required</li>
<li>General knowledge of HVAC products preferred</li>
<li>HVAC Estimating Experience a Plus</li>
</ul><div><b>Supervisory Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>None</li>
</ul><div><b>Physical Demands:</b></div>
<ul><li>Required to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, stretch, kneel, squat, push, pull, and move about the facility for the entirety of the shift.</li>
</ul><div><b>Work Environment:</b></div>
<ul><li>Location of position: Rio Grand Valley</li>
<li>Background checks and drug tests required</li>
<li>Possess and maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li>
<li>Work will generally be performed in a retail/office work environment.</li>
<li>May be exposed to Warehouse/Shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.</li>
<li>May be required to work hours other than the regular schedule</li>
