Job Summary
The Estimator maintains margins by effectively quoting labor. They work with Sales to provide accurate and competitive quotes to meet Insidesource&rsquo;s sales objectives and goals. They communicate effectively with other departments and vendors, and develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Monitor quote box / Smartsheet for new quote requests</li><li>
Provide 24-48 hour turn-around on quotes in quote box</li><li>
Enter info into quote tool to establish quote parameters</li><li>
Save excel quote in Smartsheet and x drive</li><li>
Use current quoting standards to verify dollar amount</li><li>
Engage with sub-contractors to obtain quotes for projects</li><li>
Data file info for easy retrieval</li><li>
Maintain a clean Quote mailbox by deleting and filing emails</li><li>
Analyze blueprints and project plans to gain and thorough understanding of the project</li></ul>
Smartsheet Management<ul><li>
Watch for new quote requests</li><li>
Attach sales quote and hard quote info to Smartsheet</li><li>
Use color code system to identify completed quotes</li><li>
Add labor dollar amount to appropriate fields</li><li>
Switch status field to quoted</li><li>
Add sub-contractor quotes</li></ul>
Daily Install Paperwork Review<ul><li>
Read through and identify orders that need additional action</li><li>
Email complete paperwork to entire team for &ldquo;daily install&rdquo;</li><li>
Send personalized email to SC team to verify work is completed</li><li>
All punch work documented and sent to punch/warranty team</li><li>
Compare work orders to yesterday&rsquo;s schedule</li><li>
Send completed/verify billed/</li><li>
Identify needs for incomplete orders</li><li>
Short shipped</li><li>
Punch</li><li>
Lost</li><li>
Damage</li></ul>
Returned Product Management<ul><li>
Verify what was brought back</li><li>
Verify product disposition</li><li>
Follow up on punch status</li></ul>
SC Status Calls<ul><li>
Participate in weekly status calls</li><li>
Provide info on punch status in warehouse</li><li>
Provide returned product info</li></ul> 
Supervisory Responsibilities 
None 
Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Minimum 3 years industry experience in operations field</li><li>
Prior experience estimating and installing preferred</li><li>
Comfortable with technology and able to learn new software programs</li><li>
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365 products</li><li>
Exceptional customer service, follow-through and professionalism</li><li>
1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>
Experience with IQ Coordinator, NetSuite, or any other labor quoting software a plus</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>
