<div>The UX Content Designer will report to the Digital Design Manager within the Retirement &amp; Wealth (R&amp;W) Product Design team. This role is responsible for creating clear, user-centered content that improves how clients navigate and interact with Inspira&rsquo;s digital products. In addition to writing, this role will support research activities using no-code tools to help validate and optimize content and design flows.
The UX Content Designer will collaborate closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and UX Researchers. They will contribute to Inspira&rsquo;s content guidelines and design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and effectiveness across the client experience. This is a mid-level position, designed for a practitioner who is growing their expertise in both content design and research, without the added expectations of senior-level strategy or mentorship. 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
User-Centered Writing: Create clear, concise, and accessible content for product experiences across Inspira&rsquo;s digital platforms (web, mobile, responsive). Deliver copy for flows such as onboarding, account claiming, investing, tooltips, error messaging, and contextual help.</li><li>
Content Consistency &amp; Governance: Ensure content follows Inspira&rsquo;s voice, tone, and accessibility standards. Contribute to and help maintain content documentation, guidelines, and reusable content patterns within the design system.</li><li>
Research Support: Use no-code tools (such as Chameleon, FullStory, and survey platforms) to help design and launch content-focused usability tests, comprehension studies, and A/B experiments.</li><li>
Documentation &amp; Synthesis: Draft discussion guides, test scripts, and survey questions. Capture user feedback and synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product and design teams.</li><li>
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to embed content early in design discussions and ensure research findings inform design outcomes.</li><li>
Iterative Improvement: Continuously refine product content based on user testing, analytics, and stakeholder feedback, with a focus on clarity, comprehension, and decision-making support.</li><li>
Content System Contribution: Assist in expanding Inspira&rsquo;s design system by documenting best practices for UI text, error states, and other reusable components.</li></ul>
Requirements:
Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>
2&ndash;4 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or related product content roles.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Human-Centered Design, or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Helpful (not required): coursework or certification in UX Writing, UX Research, or Technical Writing.</li><li>
Familiarity with usability testing and user research methods; experience setting up or assisting with no-code testing tools.</li><li>
Experience writing content for digital products across web and mobile platforms.</li><li>
Comfort working in design and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, or similar).</li></ul>
Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>
Ability to craft clear, concise, and user-centered content across digital interfaces.</li><li>
Strong collaboration skills; able to partner effectively with designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency, accessibility, and usability.</li><li>
Capable of drafting lightweight research materials (test scripts, guides, surveys) and documenting findings.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting content and research insights to cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.</li></ul>

Compensation: $68,000-$77,000 per year

UX Content Designer (Remote)

<div><div>The Senior Product Designer will report to the Director, Design, in the Product Department. This role is responsible for defining, creating, and maintaining customer-centric digital user experiences across Inspira's portfolio of products. This role will leverage user experience (UX) research insights to create compelling designs, build and test concepts. This role requires the candidate to collaborate with cross-functional teams, adopt modern design patterns and best practices to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to transform an idea from concept to visual designs for multiple personas while applying creativity, logic, and critical thinking to find the best solution.
 
<ul><li>Work closely with product, technology, internal stakeholders, and external clients to identify an all-inclusive user experience; that includes staying abreast of design trends and research to assist with setting strategy.
</li><li>Ability to lead a new project from start to finish incorporating user-centered design methods into Agile product development approaches (Design Sprints, Scrum).
</li><li>Consistently incorporate user feedback and data into the product design process to deliver a unified end-to-end customer experience.
</li><li>Organize and communicate across the organization to ensure consistent product design and brand expression.
</li><li>Create wireframes, prototypes, workflows, high fidelity designs, and other collateral to visualize and communicate the design process and direction.
</li><li>Operate with a holistic perspective: balancing the top-down strategic view within the context of a bottom-up detail focus to ensure program effectiveness within the business objectives.
</li><li>Develop scalable corporate design system that enables consistency and speed to market.

Typical schedule for this position is from 9 a.m. CT/ET to 5 p.m. CT/ET. 20% nationwide travel.
