We&rsquo;re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who is passionate about manufacturing &mdash; someone who thrives on improving processes, supporting production teams, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. As a proud family‑owned company, we value people who enjoy being hands‑on, solving real‑world problems on the shop floor, and helping others work more efficiently and confidently.Manufacturing Support (Primary Focus)<ul><li>Improve and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.</li><li>Partner with production teams to troubleshoot issues and support day‑to‑day operations.</li><li>Develop reliable, easy‑to‑follow work instructions, SOPs, and other process documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with quality teams to resolve issues and maintain high standards.</li></ul>Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve throughput, and simplify workflows.</li><li>Support Lean initiatives, 5S, Six Sigma methodologies, and apply principles from Kotter&rsquo;s 8‑Step Change Model to guide successful, people‑centered change throughout the organization.</li><li>Lead and assist with equipment initiatives&mdash;including equipment setup, workflow integration, and the implementation of new equipment, technology, or tooling to elevate production capabilities.</li></ul>Communication with Wholesale Clients<ul><li>Serve as an engineering resource for wholesale customers, helping translate their needs into practical manufacturing solutions.</li><li>Provide technical guidance on feasibility, customization, and product options.</li><li>Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate, helpful technical information.</li></ul>Cross‑Team Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with production, quality, supply chain, sales, and maintenance teams.</li><li>Support coordination with suppliers and vendors for materials, components, and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Maintain a positive, solutions‑oriented approach to daily challenges.</li></ul>Design &amp; Product Development (Supportive)<ul><li>Assist with design updates needed to support manufacturing improvements or customer requests.</li><li>Update or refine 3D models, drawings, and specifications as required.</li><li>Ensure design changes align with manufacturability and production capabilities.</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and Cabinet Vision.</li><li>Strong communication skills&mdash;comfortable engaging with production teams and wholesale clients.</li><li>Curiosity, a hands‑on mindset, and a passion for improving processes and products.</li><li>Organized, data‑driven, and detail‑oriented; able to keep track of project details, maintain development plans, and contribute meaningful updates in a clear and practical way.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with an approachable communication style.</li></ul>Nice‑to‑Have Skills<ul><li>Experience working directly with customers, sales teams, and vendors.</li><li>Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous‑improvement experience.</li><li>Familiarity with automation and machining processes for woodworking, molding, and assembly processes.</li><li>Experience with ERP/MRP systems.</li><li>Software programming experience (any level).</li></ul>What It&rsquo;s Like to Work HereRelationships matter here.
