 Overview
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Reporting Analyst to support a finance and procurement organization during a short-term reporting optimization project. This consultant will partner closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to enhance existing Workday Financial reports, develop new reporting solutions, and provide knowledge transfer to internal team members.
 
 This is a highly visible project focused on financial reporting, grants management, program financials, and federal compliance reporting within Workday Financials.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Analyze and enhance existing Workday Financial reports and dashboards developed during a recent Workday implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design, build, and modify custom Workday reports to support Finance and Procurement operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop reporting solutions for:
 <ul>
 <li>
 Federal Financial Reports (FFR)
 </li>
 <li>
 Grants and program financial reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Program income statements
 </li>
 <li>
 Budget-to-actual reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Income and balance reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 CERF and other compliance-related reporting requirements
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>
 Create executive and operational dashboards to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Finance Directors, Procurement leadership, and reporting stakeholders to gather requirements and validate report outputs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide recommendations on reporting best practices and Workday reporting capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor internal team members on report development and maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in daily project discussions and progress meetings to ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience developing and modifying reports within Workday Financials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of Workday Reporting tools, including:
 <ul>
 <li>
 Advanced Reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Matrix Reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Composite Reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Dashboards
 </li>
 <li>
 Calculated Fields
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience supporting Finance and/or Procurement organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful financial reports and dashboards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with finance stakeholders and leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience working independently in a remote consulting environment.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience supporting grants management and federal reporting requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Federal Financial Reporting (FFR) processes and compliance reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience developing budget, program financial, and income statement reporting within Workday.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience supporting government contractors, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, or federally funded organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience performing short-term project-based consulting engagements focused on Workday Financials optimization.
 </li>
 </ul>
 This engagement is ideal for a Workday Financial Reporting specialist who enjoys partnering directly with business stakeholders, improving reporting capabilities, and delivering high-impact solutions in a fast-paced project environment.
