<div>The Role
We&rsquo;re looking for a Flutter Tech Lead to join a product engineering team building secure, scalable applications across mobile (iOS &amp; Android) and web.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help shape the technical direction of the platform while remaining close to the code. You'll be responsible for driving engineering standards, ensuring quality and security, and supporting the delivery of high-quality customer-facing applications.
You'll work as part of an agile team, collaborating closely with engineers, product stakeholders and delivery teams to build, optimise and evolve a modern cross-platform platform.
What You'll Be Doing<ul><li>
Lead the design and development of cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart</li><li>
Drive technical architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices</li><li>
Mentor and support developers across the team, promoting quality and continuous improvement</li><li>
Implement and maintain robust state management approaches using technologies such as BLoC, Cubit or Redux</li><li>
Manage and optimise large-scale codebases, shared libraries and monorepo-based development environments</li><li>
Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the application lifecycle, including authentication, certificate pinning and device attestation</li><li>
Design and maintain comprehensive automated testing strategies across unit, component and integration testing</li><li>
Monitor and improve test coverage and quality standards across the platform</li><li>
Profile, troubleshoot and optimise application performance across mobile and web environments</li><li>
Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions</li><li>
Identify and prioritise technical debt while balancing ongoing feature delivery</li><li>
Contribute to planning, architecture discussions and continuous improvement activities across the team</li></ul>
What We're Looking For<ul><li>
7+ years' software engineering experience with significant experience building mobile applications</li><li>
Strong commercial experience developing cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart</li><li>
Previous experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role</li><li>
Deep understanding of reactive state management patterns including BLoC, Cubit or Redux</li><li>
Experience working with monorepos and managing shared dependencies across multiple applications</li><li>
Strong understanding of mobile and web security principles</li><li>
Proven experience implementing automated testing frameworks and quality strategies</li><li>
Strong knowledge of performance profiling, troubleshooting and optimisation techniques</li><li>
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to delivery</li><li>
Strong communication skills and experience working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li></ul>
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Experience with React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)</li><li>
Experience working on enterprise-scale or consumer-facing mobile platforms</li><li>
Experience with cloud-native architectures and services</li><li>
Exposure to regulated or security-sensitive environments</li><li>
Experience leading distributed teams</li><li>
Familiarity with modern observability and monitoring tooling</li></ul>
Contract Details<ul><li>
Start Date: ASAP</li><li>
Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension</li><li>
Location: Birmingham</li><li>
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with 2 days per week onsite at the client's Birmingham office.</li><li>
Expenses: Reasonable travel and accommodation expenses for onsite attendance will be covered.</li></ul>

Flutter Tech Lead (Contract)

<div>The Role 
We&rsquo;re looking for a QA Engineer to join our engineering team in Belfast, helping ensure the quality of the software we deliver across a range of projects. 
 
This is a hands-on role where you&rsquo;ll focus on building out automation, improving test coverage, and working closely with engineers to make quality part of the development process, not something that happens at the end. 
 
You&rsquo;ll be working in fast-moving, agile teams, contributing to how we test, release, and continuously improve the systems we build. 
 
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing<ul><li>
Build and maintain automated tests for web-based applications using tools like Playwright</li><li>
Automate tests across both user interfaces and backend services</li><li>
Expand and maintain automated regression test suites to support reliable releases</li><li>
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery</li><li>
Contribute to test strategies and quality approaches across projects</li><li>
Set up and manage test environments and test data as required</li><li>
Identify defects, track them through to resolution, and help ensure root causes are understood</li><li>
Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to the wider team</li><li>
Participate fully in agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, refinement, and continuous improvement</li></ul> 
What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
5+ years&rsquo; experience in a QA or software testing role</li><li>
Strong experience with test automation strategies for web applications</li><li>
Experience working with test frameworks in Playwright (or similar tools)</li><li>
A good understanding of different testing types (functional, integration, regression, etc.)</li><li>
Experience working in agile, delivery-focused teams</li><li>
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins or similar)</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to testing</li><li>
Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers and stakeholders</li></ul> 
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Experience testing cloud-based systems (AWS or similar)</li><li>
Exposure to API or service-level testing</li><li>
Experience of using AI tools to support testing efforts</li><li>
Familiarity with performance or non-functional testing approaches</li><li>
An interest in improving QA processes and tooling</li><li>
Experience working across multiple projects or client environments</li></ul>
Please note: We offer flexible hybrid working, but candidates should be based in Northern Ireland and able to attend our Belfast office when required.

QA Engineer (Contract)

<div>The Role
We&rsquo;re looking for a Data Engineer to join a team building and evolving a modern cloud-based data platform.
This is a hands-on role focused on designing, building, and improving data pipelines and services, while also contributing to API design and occasional frontend work where needed. You&rsquo;ll work across the stack, primarily in Python and AWS, helping to deliver reliable, well-structured data and making it easier for teams to ingest, access, and use it.
The focus is on practical delivery: building ingestion and transformation pipelines, exposing data through APIs, and supporting a platform that removes bottlenecks and enables better use of data across the organisation.
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing<ul><li>
Design, build, and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines in production environments</li><li>
Develop ingestion and egress patterns to support reliable data access and integration</li><li>
Work with structured and semi-structured data (e.g. JSON, Parquet)</li><li>
Build and maintain data models across a cloud data platform</li><li>
Design and implement APIs to expose data for downstream consumers</li><li>
Contribute to cloud-based data platform development in AWS</li><li>
Support lightweight frontend work (React / TypeScript) for data-focused tools where needed</li><li>
Implement observability practices (logging, monitoring, tracing) across data pipelines and APIs</li><li>
Improve reliability, performance, and failure handling across the platform</li><li>
Collaborate with engineers and analysts to deliver data that supports reporting and operational use cases</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
Experience building and supporting data platforms or pipelines in production</li><li>
Strong Python skills for data processing, transformation, and pipeline development</li><li>
Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimisation</li><li>
Experience with ETL / ELT design and implementation</li><li>
Experience working with AWS data services</li><li>
Experience working with a cloud data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, or similar)</li><li>
Experience designing and implementing APIs</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with evolving requirements</li><li>
Good communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams</li></ul>
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript</li><li>
Experience contributing to frontend applications (React)</li><li>
