 The Video Content Creator will play a key role in bringing our mission to the court of public opinion through creative storytelling. This position will focus on producing engaging short-form video content that educates and inspires, while maintaining IJ&rsquo;s brand voice. The ideal candidate is experienced at short-form video editing and passionate about IJ&rsquo;s mission.
 
 
 
 Characteristics
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A strong storyteller with good taste (both in terms of recognizing engaging content but also discerning about how/what/when to speak publicly)
 </li>
 <li>
 Dependable, able to manage multiple projects at once
 </li>
 <li>
 Organized enough to juggle projects and provide regular reports on production progress
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative and open to feedback, especially during the approval process
 </li>
 <li>
 Eager to deepen understanding of IJ
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Brainstorm and collaborate on video ideas
 </li>
 <li>
 Record and edit clips into compelling social media videos
 </li>
 <li>
 Write scripts and coordinate with talent
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage regular updates in the project management system to ensure transparency in the production workflow
 </li>
 <li>
 Support other creative projects such as photography or graphic design as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all media aligns with IJ branding and voice
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proficiency in video editing software (ex. CapCut, Adobe, Final Cut, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 2-3 years of experience in video production
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong storytelling and creative writing skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep familiarity with social media platforms and trends
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with motion graphics, animation, audio editing is a plus
