Role Summary
INTECON is seeking a highly skilled Space Systems Engineer to support critical national security space programs. In this role, you will provide systems engineering leadership for the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) and related Space Force systems, supporting planning, development, testing, and sustainment while advising leadership on modernization activities. Your work will ensure system readiness and contribute to Space Force mission execution.
Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Provide systems engineering expertise for SBIRS satellites, command-and-control systems, relay stations, and user interfaces.</li><li>
Support the planning, development, integration, and sustainment of SBIRS enterprise components to maintain and enhance mission performance.</li><li>
Coordinate with U.S. Space Force units and other mission partners on performance assessments, modernization initiatives, and system interoperability.</li><li>
Support trial-phase and operational acceptance testing for SBIRS systems, ensuring upgrades meet operational readiness standards.</li><li>
Provide technical guidance, assess engineering and programmatic risks, and recommend adjustments to maintain schedule and development progress.</li><li>
Develop technical requirements, interface control documents, verification plans, and digital system definitions for satellite ground systems.</li><li>
Conduct systems analyses to identify technical issues, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and propose feasible solutions.</li><li>
Support cross-program engineering activities to ensure interoperability across related systems.</li><li>
Apply agile and digital engineering methodologies to accelerate capability delivery and improve collaboration.</li><li>
Support infrastructure readiness assessments and contributions to long-term modernization roadmaps for future OPIR systems.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.</li><li>
6+ years of experience supporting SBIRS or similar space/ground system enterprises (satellite, ground station, payload, hardware/software integration).</li><li>
3+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience supporting DoD or U.S. Space Force programs.</li><li>
Familiarity with SBIRS testing procedures and operational acceptance processes.</li><li>
Knowledge of DoD or Space Force operations, acquisition, and sustainment policies.</li><li>
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application.</li></ul>
Preferred Certifications / Experience
<ul><li>Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Management, or related field.</li><li>

Role Summary
INTECON is seeking a highly skilled Space Operations Instructor &amp; Curriculum Developer to support the Missile Warning and Tracking Operations Support II program. In this role, you will develop advanced curriculum and deliver instruction for space-based and ground missile warning systems, ensuring training programs remain current, relevant, and aligned with Mission Delta 4 operational requirements. Your efforts will enable the U.S. Space Force to maintain space superiority and mission readiness by producing well-trained crews and instructors prepared for missile warning and tracking operations.
Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Deliver comprehensive classroom and simulator-based instruction for Qualification Training (QT), Difference Training (DT), and Combat Training (CT) courses across systems such as SBIRS, OBAC, JTAGS, S2E2, and UEWR.</li><li>
Provide specialized instructor training, including Instructor Qualification Course (IQC), Simulator Instructor Course (SIC), and Instructional Systems Development (ISD) methodologies for fellow trainers.</li><li>
Develop and maintain training curriculum, lesson plans, interactive courseware, knowledge/performance tests, and realistic training scenarios in accordance with U.S. Space Force standards.</li><li>
Continuously review and update instructional materials at least annually or whenever changes occur (e.g. new procedures or simulator software updates) to keep training content up-to-date.</li><li>
Assist in defining and validating training simulator requirements, identifying deficiencies and improvements to enhance the realism and effectiveness of training devices.</li><li>
Maintain expert familiarity with USSF training regulations, evaluation documentation, and the Ready Spacecrew Program standards to ensure all training activities meet official guidelines.</li><li>
Support the development and update of Plans of Instruction (POIs), Training and Evaluation Performance Standards (TEPS), Master Task Lists (MTLs), and other training documentation critical to Mission Delta 4.</li><li>
Coordinate closely with Mission Delta 4 leadership to align training schedules and content with operational cycles and readiness needs, ensuring crew training keeps pace with mission demands.</li><li>
Provide administrative support for training simulators and participate in verification/validation events, ensuring simulators accurately reflect operational environments.</li><li>
Document all training sessions and results, maintain meticulous student training records, and assist in preparing required training reports for leadership review.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field &ndash; or equivalent experience.</li><li>
3+ years of hands-on experience in curriculum development and instruction, ideally for technical or military training programs.</li><li>
3+ years of experience with relevant missile warning/space operations weapon systems and crew positions (e.g. SBIRS, OBAC, JTAGS, S2E2, UEWR), providing firsthand understanding of the operational context.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and methodologies for developing effective training programs.</li><li>
Experience utilizing the Standard Space Trainer (SST) or similar high-fidelity simulators as an instructor to replicate mission scenarios.</li><li>
Familiarity with U.S. Space Force training and evaluation regulations, and ability to navigate official training documentation and record-keeping requirements.</li><li>
Active TS/SCI clearance (must be a U.S. citizen eligible for Top Secret/SCI).</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Master's degree in Instructional Design, Space Studies, or a related discipline.</li><li>
Completion of a DoD/USSF Instructor or Evaluator certification program (e.g., formal USSF instructor course).</li><li>
Direct experience with Mission Delta 4 systems and operational training cycles (e.g., prior service as a space operations crew member or trainer within MD4).</li><li>
Familiarity with integrating intelligence briefings or threat scenarios into training (experience with Combat Training integration of intel products).</li></ul>

Role Summary
INTECON is seeking a seasoned Mission Assurance Project Manager to lead the High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Program under the Missile Warning and Tracking Operations Support II contract. This role directly supports U.S. Space Force Mission Delta 4 by managing all HEMP-related efforts to protect critical missile warning and tracking systems from electromagnetic pulse threats. You will oversee HEMP program workflows, sustainment activities, and coordination with DoD stakeholders, ensuring mission-critical assets remain resilient and compliant with DoD and USSF hardening standards.
Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Manage the end-to-end HEMP program workflow, including taskings, project milestones, and sustainment efforts to harden and protect Mission Delta 4 systems against electromagnetic pulse effects.</li><li>
Prepare, update, and present program documentation, technical briefings, and status reports for Mission Delta 4 leadership and Department of Defense stakeholders, clearly communicating progress and issues.</li><li>
Coordinate regular HEMP program leadership meetings, help establish program priorities, and document action items and decisions to drive follow-through on critical tasks.</li><li>
Conduct site visits and inspections of HEMP-protected facilities/equipment, and generate reports on the status of Hardness Critical Items/Assemblies (HCIs/HCAs) to verify they meet required standards.</li><li>
Submit and track requests for maintenance or corrective actions related to HEMP equipment via secure systems such as SIPRNet, CKNet, and CCAS, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and test equipment for HEMP systems, and coordinate their use or replacement to sustain HEMP readiness.</li><li>
Provide technical input and expertise regarding radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic system performance as it pertains to HEMP protections, advising on potential vulnerabilities or improvements.</li><li>
Review and contribute to policy recommendations for DoD and USSF HEMP regulations, helping to shape future guidelines based on field insights and best practices.</li><li><ul><li>Support the review of Technical Orders and promote standardization in HEMP program operations, ensuring that procedures across all sites adhere to common standards and protocols for electromagnetic protection.</li></ul></li></ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field &ndash; or equivalent experience.</li><li>
3+ years of project management experience, leading projects or programs in a technical field.</li><li>
3+ years of experience supporting or managing HEMP (High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse) programs, hardening initiatives, or related mission assurance efforts.</li><li>
Familiarity with DoD and USSF HEMP regulations, standards, and the general Mission Delta 4 weapon systems environment (missile warning ground stations, satellite control sites, etc.).</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, stakeholders, and deadlines in a high-stakes environment.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with military leadership and technical teams, and for developing clear program documentation.</li><li>
Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).</li></ul>
