</li></ul><div><ul><li><div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Collect raw material, in-process, and finished product samples for analysis.</li>
<li>Conduct routine and special tests as per defined process parameters and standards.</li>
<li>Support trials of new materials, methods, or technologies.</li>
<li>Assist process engineers in validating manufacturing processes.</li>
<li>Record, compile, and interpret test results to ensure process compliance.</li>
<li>Identify deviations and support corrective action implementation.</li>
<li>Operate laboratory instruments such as spectrometers, hardness testers, tensile machines, microscopes, etc.</li>
<li>Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of lab equipment.</li>
<li>Handle and monitor PT line chemicals, ensuring correct dosing and bath maintenance.</li>
<li>Perform titrations and chemical analysis as per supplier recommendations.</li>
<li>Maintain PT line reports and document chemical consumption.</li>
<li>Prepare reports for engineers and management teams.</li>
<li>Support compliance with ISO/TS, customer requirements, and audits.</li>
<li>Assist in trials for continuous improvement projects.</li>
<li>Follow all EHS protocols in handling chemicals, machines, and samples.</li>
<li>Ensure waste disposal as per company and regulatory guidelines.</li>
</ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p>
<ul><li><div>Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Mechanical, or related discipline.</div>
</li><li><div>1&ndash;3 years of experience as a Lab Technician in manufacturing / process industry preferred.</div>
</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Skills</b></div>
<ul><li>Knowledge of process testing standards (ASTM, ISO, BIS, etc.).</li>
<li>Knowledge and hands-on experience in PT line chemical handling and bath maintenance.</li>
<li>Knowledge of laboratory instruments and their uses.</li>
<li>Knowledge of chemicals commonly used in laboratory testing.</li>
<li>Ability to perform titrations accurately as per supplier guidelines.</li>
<li>Knowledge of PT line report preparation and documentation.</li>
<li>Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, ERP systems for reporting).</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.</li>
<li>Good communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.</li>
</ul><p><b>Working Conditions</b></p>
<ul><li>Laboratory and shop-floor environment exposure.</li>
<li>May require shift work depending on process requirements.</li>
<li>Handling of PT line chemicals with mandatory use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat, mask).</li>
<li>Work involves both chemical lab and production support activities.</li></ul></div></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div><div></div>
