Responsibilities &amp; Expectations: 
 
The Field Project Manager will liaison between industrial sales and field services fairly representing both groups with customer satisfaction and project quality as the guiding criteria. 
<ul><li>
Communicate frequently with inside and outside sales team and field service group to ensure projects are on time and running smoothly</li><li>
Review installations at project sites</li><li>
Review project specifications for project overview information</li><li>
Review sales bill of material and engineering submittal for vendor application compliance</li><li>
Review project timelines for material requirements and testing criteria</li><li>
Arrange and communicate scheduling details</li><li>
Communicate with and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner</li><li>
Provide technical product assistance to contractors and customers</li><li>
Attend and participate in job-site meetings with contractors, owner&rsquo;s reps and engineers</li><li>
Responsible for engineering questions during submittal review period</li><li>
Generate ongoing and final documentation</li><li>
Set up and update projects in system</li><li>
Periodic overnight travel as needed</li></ul> 
 
Qualifications and Competencies: 
<ul><li>
Bachelors&rsquo; degree, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering desired; or five years&rsquo; experience in the field as a power gen or generator technician or experience as a Project Manager within the industry</li><li>
Read and interpret specifications, building drawings, single line electrical drawings
</li><li>Capable of easily converting and discussing technical data with any audience</li><li>
Must have superior problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills</li><li>
Intermediate to advanced computer skills; Dynamics AX a plus</li><li>
Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers</li><li>
Must be available for travel as needed</li><li>
Must have a satisfactory driving record</li></ul>

Project Manager - Power Generation

CIPS (Continuous Improvement Process Solution) is the IPS operating system, incorporating the requirements of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
CIPS keeps us focused on our mission &mdash; To revolutionize equipment and process reliability. It&rsquo;s how we eliminate waste from operations and business processes and leverage best practices across our North American network. We use metrics and standardized processes to drive continuous improvement and deliver the Unmatched Customer Experience (UCE).
As a CIPS Coordinator for IPS, you will apply Servant Leadership principles to build trust and open communication as you lead CIPS activities.
<ul><li>Develop, update, and own the continuous improvement processes, metrics, and any associated tools.</li><li>
Promote the culture of change management, organizational excellence, lean operation and continuous improvement all with the same goal of providing an Unmatched Customer Experience.</li><li>
Work with team members to drive excellence in the CIPS foundational categories of Health, Safety &amp; Environment (HSE), Quality &amp; Engineering, Operations &amp; Finance, Customer and Employee Satisfaction.</li><li>
Organize presentations for UCE and Steering Committee Meetings.</li><li>
Contribute to the development and promotion of standard work throughout the facility</li><li>
Utilize and promote lean tools such as: 6S, Visual Management, Value Stream Maps, etc.</li><li>
Lead the effort to meet or exceed targets set at both the corporate and service center level (Phase Assessment Tool, AGM Scorecard, KPIs, etc.)</li><li>
Promote engagement between the UCE-1 and UCE-4 team to drive the creation of COILs and CIs that return value in terms of efficiency, profits and quality of life to both our employees and the processes we perform</li><li>
Lead and participate amongst staff meetings, Phase assessments and decision making regarding continuous improvement projects to ensure the transfer of information through communication amongst the element owners.</li></ul>
