Come work with us and love your job! Medical office assistant in an outpatient setting. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Depending on the day, you might check in or out patients, answer the phones, or help with triage. Behavioral health experience a plus but not necessary. Potential to full-time with benefits if interested in the future or you can stay as PRN if you wish. Scrubs provided. Salary depends on experience.Requirements:<ul><li>Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.</li><li>Experience with using online service provider service portals and be efficient with computer-based skills.</li><li>Experience with eClinicalWorks EHR is a plus.</li><li>1 year Medical Receptionist Experience Required.</li><li>1 year Medical Assistant Experience Required.</li></ul>Duties and Responsibility<ul><li>Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.</li><li>Schedules all new patient appointments and any needed follow-up or urgent appointments.</li><li>Update and change demographic and insurance information while confirming appointments and checking in and checking out patients.</li><li>Also, obtains all needed forms/documents along with new insurance cards and drivers license.</li><li>Assist with Kiosk questions while checking in.</li><li>Collect balances and co-pays at the time of service and alerts billing of any needs.</li><li>Assist in patient&rsquo;s needs with voicemails, refills, and communications between the patient and providers.</li><li>Scans paperwork into the system to upload into the patient&rsquo;s chart.</li><li>Assist in processing and sending medical records via fax or EMR.</li><li>Assist providers in filling out and documenting patient letters and forms.</li><li>Completes insurance verification of benefits for potential patients.</li><li>Document outcome of all outbound and inbound calls from Insurance carriers/patients.</li><li>Ask Screening questions to ensure patient appropriate for the practice</li><li>Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, reviewing and/or recording medical history, taking vital signs, reviews systems, and confirms purpose of visit or treatment.</li><li>Preforms duties such as: monthly injections if needed.</li><li>Work with provider, pharmacy and insurance company to process Prior Authorizations.</li></ul>Thank you for submitting your resume for the current ad.
