We are committed to providing a paid, professional environment that values your skills and dedication to healthcare excellence.Duties<ul><li>Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all clinical tools meet infection prevention standards.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and digital radiography systems while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Manage patient records accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring all medical documentation complies with clinical confidentiality policies.</li><li>Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments efficiently during procedures and practicing four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and assist in medical imaging when necessary to support comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Support administrative tasks such as patient check-in/out, verifying insurance information, and coordinating appointments using patient management software like Epic or similar systems.</li><li>Uphold infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and adherence to healthcare infection prevention protocols.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and answer questions about general dentistry or pediatric dentistry procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with radiology endoresement.</li><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental assisting techniques and terminology.</li><li>Proficiency with dental software including Eaglesoft or similar EMR systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection prevention management, sterilization procedures, and aseptic technique.</li><li>Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools confidently.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental and pediatric dentistry practices.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective patient management and collaboration within the healthcare team.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of medical records and patient information.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting instruments or supplies, and maintaining clinical confidentiality at all times.</li></ul>Join us in delivering outstanding dental care where your skills make a difference!
