 Interamerican Bank is seeking a Teller for our Hialeah Branch who will serve existing and new customers by providing exceptional customer service.  Responsibilities:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide account services to customers by cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and cashier&rsquo;s checks
 </li>
 <li>
 Verifies signatures and examines checks for endorsements
 </li>
 <li>
 Balances and reconciles currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at the end of a shift and compares to the data in the system
 </li>
 <li>
 Explains, promotes, or sells products or services
 </li>
 <li>
 Answers customer questions
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties may be assigned
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Competencies:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to speak English and Spanish clearly
 </li>
 <li>
 High school diploma, or equivalent education and related training (Associate&rsquo;s degree desired)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to master computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with accuracy
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent time management skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to complete annual required training
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift 30 lbs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 One year of client sales or service experience desired
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior teller experience preferred
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Days worked may vary, but the Teller will average about 40 hours a week, which may include some Saturdays.
 
 
 
 
 
 Salary commensurate with experience.
