About the Role:
The Front Office Receptionist position in Health Care Services is a critical role focused on delivering exceptional patient and visitor experiences through efficient and professional front office operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff, ensuring smooth communication and coordination within the facility. The incumbent will manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and handle inquiries with accuracy and empathy, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the healthcare environment. Additionally, this role involves collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to support patient flow and maintain accurate records. Ultimately, the Front Office Receptionist professional plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Positions available:
Lakewood Ranch Medical Office (part-time): Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9am-5pm
Lakewood Ranch Radiology (part-time): Saturdays and Sundays, 8am-5pm
Sarasota Radiology (PRN/part-time): Weekdays, evenings and weekends as needed
Sarasota Cardiology (full-time): Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Sarasota Oncology-Hematology (full-time): Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Shift differential compensation available for weekend shifts.
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years experience in a front office or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and appointment scheduling software.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Associate degree or certification in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of insurance terminology.</li><li>
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.</li><li>
Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.</li><li>
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist patients and visitors promptly and courteously, providing clear information and directions as needed.</li><li>
Manage patient appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling using healthcare management software.</li><li>
May perform patient registration, verify insurance information, and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed.</li><li>
Handle incoming calls and inquiries, transcribing messages appropriately and providing timely responses.</li><li>
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to facilitate patient flow and resolve scheduling conflicts.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.</li></ul>

About the Role:
The Clinical Research Coordinator II plays a pivotal role in the successful execution and management of clinical research studies within healthcare settings. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of study data. The coordinator will serve as a liaison between investigators, study participants, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth study operations. They will oversee participant recruitment, informed consent processes, and data collection while monitoring adherence to study protocols. Ultimately, this role contributes to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care through rigorous clinical research.
Salary will commensurate with research experience and certifications.
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher in a health-related field.</li><li>
At least 3 years of experience coordinating clinical research studies in a healthcare or academic setting.</li><li>
Knowledge of clinical research regulations, including FDA, IRB, and GCP guidelines.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.</li><li>
Proficiency in electronic data capture systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (e.g., ACRP-CRC or SOCRA).</li><li>
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse; or current medical assistant certification</li><li>
Experience with neurology or other specialized therapeutic area clinical trials.</li><li>
Familiarity with statistical software and data analysis techniques.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate with diverse stakeholders.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements such as FDA and IRB guidelines.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and detailed study documentation, including case report forms, regulatory binders, and electronic data capture systems.</li><li>
Collaborate with principal investigators, research staff, and external sponsors to facilitate study progress and resolve any issues.</li><li>
Monitor participant safety and report adverse events promptly according to protocol and regulatory standards.</li><li>
Schedule and conduct study visits, collect biological samples, and administer study-related procedures as required.</li><li>
Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and study reports.</li><li>
Train and mentor junior research staff and support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the research team.</li></ul>
