When you join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key contributor to the maintenance of the mill equipment and will be responsible for the supervision of the assigned maintenance crew while providing professional service and ensuring a safe working environment. This role will specifically be responsible for overseeing the maintenance for the dry end operations.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Demonstrate and promote a safe working environment including the administration of safety program policies and practices as well as the coaching of employees on safe work habits.</li><li>
Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.</li><li>
Make improvement recommendations for plant equipment reliability and maintenance-related problems solving.</li><li>
Ensure that maintenance personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated.</li><li>
Assist with hiring, scheduling, and supervision of maintenance personnel.</li><li>
Evaluate employee competency, knowledge, and core values relative to expected standards and provide coaching to employees as needed.</li><li>
Manage/supervise maintenance team on the weekends as needed.</li><li>
Set and communicate direction for crew.</li><li>
Ensure quality of maintenance work performed.</li><li>
Oversee machine center performance (mechanical and electrical).</li><li>
Develop, plan, and implement work projects.</li><li>
Administer and enforce company policies as appropriate.</li></ul>
What You Offer
<ul><li>Post-secondary education strongly preferred; Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is considered a strong asset.
</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of heavy industry experience.</li><li>
Experience utilizing a CMMS preferred.</li><li>
Wood products manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Strong leadership and organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to think tactically and strategically.</li><li>
Detail and results oriented.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment.</li><li>
Ability to function under pressure.
</li><li>Strong business focus.
</li><li>Strong computer skills utilizing Windows based programs and Microsoft Office.</li></ul>

Maintenance Supervisor

<div>Administrative Assistant, Eatonton, Georgia
Interfor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Eatonton, Georgia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and organization. The pay rate for this position is up to $23.18 per hour based on skill and experience.
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Answer and direct phone calls, manage email correspondence, and distribute information to appropriate personnel.</li><li>
Collate, sort, and distribute incoming mail.</li><li>
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member.</li><li>
Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for mill employees.</li><li>
Set up meeting rooms, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.</li><li>
Prepare and distribute letters, memos, reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.</li><li>
Order office supplies, manage inventory levels, and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.</li><li>
Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the Main Office.</li><li>
Provide ad hoc administrative support to Human Resources and Management, including periodic responsibilities that involve going into the mill.</li><li>
Enter and maintain information in databases and spreadsheets.</li><li>
Coordinate community engagement programs and employee relations activities.</li><li>
Keep inventory records organized, assist with monthly physical inventory, and ensure documents are accurate and easy to retrieve.</li><li>
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>
What You Offer:<ul><li>
Post-secondary education with some accounting experience preferred.</li><li>
3&ndash;5 years of experience in an administrative or manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated commitment to safety.</li><li>
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>
Self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize work, and function with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.</li><li>
Experience in purchasing and receiving is an asset.</li><li>
Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; CMMS experience (EAM preferred).</li><li>
Proficiency in operating general office equipment (calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc.).</li><li>
Flexibility to work varying hours or days for inventory, events, or coverage needs.</li></ul>
