<div>Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)13 Week Contract - Temp to Hire

We&rsquo;re seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13 week contract temp to hire who&rsquo;s ready to hit the ground running. This flexible role spans home health visits, interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings, and in-clinic care&mdash;offering a unique blend of autonomy and variety. As part of our team, you&rsquo;ll deliver personalized, high-quality therapy to patients wherever they are. As a PTA, here&rsquo;s a big-picture view of what you&rsquo;ll do:

13 Week Contract with possible temp to hire - 40 hours a week.
<ul><li>Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic interventions such as heat, cold, or electrical stimulation.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; performance, adjust treatments within scope, and communicate progress or challenges to the supervising physical therapist.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Teach patients to use assistive devices and educate them and their families on home exercises, safety, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to empower independence.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Document therapy sessions, outcomes, and report changes in patients&rsquo; condition or adverse reactions.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Maintain therapy equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Contribute to treatment plan adjustments, participate in staff meetings, and assist with equipment and supply management.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Provide support with patients transfers.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Act within the legal scope of practice and uphold ethical and professional care standards.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li></ul>

A few must-haves for our PTAs:
<ul>
<li>Associate of Arts Degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation on Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
</li></ul><ul><li>3 years PTA experience in various settings preferred</li>
<li>Experience with geriatric/frail population</li>
<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of clinical and non-clinical staff.</li>
<li>Proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare environment.</li>
<li>Competent in reading and interpreting technical instructions related to patient care plans and procedures.</li>
<li>Skilled in observing and assessing patients through both visual and auditory cues.</li>
<li>Adaptable and resilient in managing frequent changes in patient needs and care settings.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Work effectively with patients, families, staff, and external agencies, including emotionally or physically challenging situations.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Deliver participant-centered therapy treatments under supervision, prioritizing care and demonstrating a People First philosophy.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Build rapport to motivate participants, ensuring a safe and supportive therapy environment.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Mentor students or interns, fostering professional growth aligned company values.</li>
<li>Must provide a valid driver&rsquo;s license and auto insurance</li>
<li>Current CPR/BLS certification required</li>
<li>Ability to pass drug screening and background checks</li>
<li>Up to date required immunizations (TDP, MMR, Varicella, flu, and Pneumonia) and physical exam or statement of good health</li>
<li>Must meet all applicable health and physical requirements necessary to safely provide patient care</li></ul>
