We are seeking a Commercial Interior Designer who thrives on detail, collaboration, and purpose-driven work. This is not a residential design role. This is institutional, technical, and impact-focused design &mdash; where your work supports public safety, education, healthcare, and government operations.

What You&rsquo;ll Do
You will partner with sales, project managers, and clients to design spaces that are both inspiring and operationally sound.
Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop space plans, furniture layouts, and storage solutions for commercial and institutional projects</li><li>
Create CAD drawings, 2020 CAP renderings, and presentation materials</li><li>
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams from concept through installation</li><li>
Specify commercial furniture and specialized storage systems</li><li>
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements</li><li>
Support bid responses and proposal development</li><li>
Conduct site visits and field measurements</li><li>
Participate in client presentations and design reviews</li><li>
Maintain accuracy across specifications, budgets, and timelines</li></ul>
You will help design spaces for:<ul><li>
Education facilities</li><li>
Healthcare environments</li><li>
Government agencies</li><li>
Public safety and military installations</li><li>
Museums and institutional collections</li></ul>

Who You Are
You are more than creative. You are disciplined. You care about how a space works, not just how it looks.
Required:<ul><li>
2+ years of commercial interior design experience</li><li>
Experience working with contract furniture dealerships</li><li>
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)</li><li>
Strong knowledge of commercial furniture systems</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Knowledge of manufacturers such as Steelcase, Haworth, MillerKnoll, Teknion, Allsteel, HON, Kimball, OFS, AIS, or Global</li><li>
Experience in healthcare, government, or education projects</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Interior Design or related field</li><li>
NCIDQ certification (or working toward it)</li></ul></div>
