The level II role demonstrates expanded skills and competencies and typically performs duties that are more complex than the transporter I.

Essential Functions<ul><li>
Responds to Rapids, Resuscitation, and Stroke Alerts</li><li>
Demonstrates the proficiency of a fully trained dispatcher and manages the Lead Phone</li><li>

Verifies mode of transportation, obtains patient chart, necessary paperwork, required linens, and/or equipment. Notifies nursing staff of patient being transported and the destination</li><li>
Initiates or assists in the transfer process of patients from bed to mode of transportation</li><li>
Requests and obtains instruction or assistance from nursing staff for patients who require isolation techniques, two-man lifts, bedpan or restroom assistance, or who has support devices requiring special handling</li><li>
Returns patient to bed utilizing proper transfer techniques 100% of the time to avoid injury to patient and/or self. Verifies that patients basic needs are satisfied upon return to bed. Places call light beside table and similar items within patients reach. Offer to put away personal items and report patients needs to nursing staff before leaving the unit. Reports patient has been returned to the nursing unit</li><li>
Notifies dispatcher of completion of assigned duties and proceeds as instructed. If a delay problem occurs in transporting a patient, transporter informs dispatcher immediately and proceeds according to instruction issued</li><li>
Returns equipment promptly to proper location after use using proper infection control procedures. Collect sand clean equipment at designated times per established department procedures</li><li>
Transports patients upon discharge, helping the patient in and out of vehicles at entrances</li><li>
Follows up on complaints, provide solutions, and report issues to supervisor</li><li>
Performs morgue duties: pick-up, bag, and release of deceased.</li></ul>

<div>Job Description:
This position represents the face of Intermountain Healthcare to customers, patients, and physicians who use Courier services to transport items between facilities and organizations within Intermountain Healthcare. This positon is responsible to take care of the customers' needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, and high quality service. This position drives a light or medium duty vehicle less than 10,000 GVW, making deliveries of equipment, packages, specimens, and supplies. The routes vary from short local routes of only a few miles to long distance routes covering up to 500 plus miles per day.

The Phlebotomist I perform specimen collection using many different techniques such as venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections. The position participates in many procedural aspects of pharmacy practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or technician supervisor and is an integral part of the pharmacy team. This position supports Pharmacy Services in all locations (i.e., acute, community, ambulatory, specialty).
This position will work 1130-2000 Monday-Friday. 2 Holidays/year. 1 Saturday night a quarter to complete cleaning tasks.
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Assists with all phases of pharmacy services while under the supervision of a pharmacist as required by state of practice and job duties.</li><li>
Answers phones and provides excellent customer service as appropriate to practice site.</li><li>
Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and other patient information and maintaining appropriate records as required by regulation and policy.</li><li>
Utilizes pharmacy technology effectively to prepare medication orders for dispensing, performs calculations as necessary, and compounds medications for accurate compounding as appropriate to practice site, in accordance with state law, policies, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>
Attains appropriate supervision and accuracy checks by the pharmacist(s) and clearly understands when a pharmacist must verify tasks and activities.</li><li>
Accurately fills and maintains medication supplies including verifying and monitoring controlled substance inventories to ensure security, accuracy, cost effectiveness, and 340B/Charging management as required to practice site.</li><li>
Packages and labels medications accurately and appropriately to minimize waste as appropriate to practice site and job duties.</li><li>
Ensures pharmacy cleanliness and orderliness as appropriate to practice site.</li><li>
Communicates with caregivers regarding responsibilities, identified concerns, and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying potential safety hazards that may create problems for patients and/or staff and takes appropriate actions to escalate items to the pharmacist for review as appropriate based on urgency, regulations, and scope.</li><li>
Participates in departmental meetings, contributing ideas or feedback and identifies potential areas for improvement including processes that could be streamlined or revised to improve patient satisfaction and seeks a team approach to developing and achieving best practices and processes.</li><li>
Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.</li><li>
Delivers detail-oriented, consistent, flexible care and completes advanced tasks consistent with scope and performs other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>

Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.</li><li>
Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy and the distribution of approved drugs, controlled substances, and investigational agents.</li><li>
Any lapse or failure to meet these requirements may result in disciplinary action, up to termination, at the hiring manager's discretion.</li></ul>
